After a few tedious minutes, you unload most of your supplies. From the ice around you, you can see nothing really important around, but you know the base is roughly to the north, a while to lug these supplies there. The boat, you hitch up to a stable looking piece of ice.
Really, the only question is if you want to set up camp here or at the base... |

| I search through the supplies, checking to see if I have anything beyond the gear I decided to bring myself. |

I remove my sleeping bag and unfold it. I sit Zimbabwe down nearby to keep watch. "Stay here Zimbabwe," I say, looking up into the sky to try to gauge about what time it is. |

| No reason to sleep then. I look around my general area for trees. |

| The base is roughly north of here. Zimbabwe is blown over, but that's really all that is of interest in your sight. |

| I dig through the supplies to find my trusty towel and wear it around my neck. I pick up Zimbabwe and perch him on my head, then pack the rest of my gear into my hiking bag, save for the sleeping bag, which will stay here, and the Zippo lighter, which I put in my pocket. I put on the hiking bag, then begin the journey towards the base. |

| I pet Zimbabwe's head for comfort, then search for an entry point to the base. |

You enter.
A mud room, a room to some living quarters, and the main hallway presents itself. |

There are three doors, along with a hallway leading farther in.
4,5,6 are your door options. |

| You enter five. There's a table, bed, and a closet. The closet is closed, and on the bed is a teddy bear. |

| I set Zimbabwe down next to the unfamiliar bear, so that he can socialise. I open the closet and peer inside. |

| You open the closet. It's got a helmet inside, obviously accidentally discarded. Other than that, just clothing. |

| I pick up Zimbabwe, giving him a moment to say bye to his friend before putting him back on my head and walking out to check out Room Six. |

You feel like you should pick up the bear for some reason.
And you have no idea why. You look at room six, it's very similar, but there's a journal on the table this time. |

Perhaps Zimbabwe would like a teddy-friend. I head back into Room Five and pick up the bear, deciding to name it "Lucky." I spend a few minutes trying to decide where to put it, before deciding to place him on my shoulder.
I then walk back to Room Six and open the journal. |

You place it on your shoulder. You do believe they will get along quite well together. You open the journal.
Would you like to read it, read the margins, or close it? |
