| I was just wondering because I was building and I put a mesh in workplace. Then I added a decal. It lagged as soon as I put the decal in. So my question is, do some decals lag more than others? |

Without knowing all the facts I would have to say no, one decal shouldn't cause lag.
It may be the surface of the mesh causing the problem. Decal on wrong surface maybe? Or the decal and mesh together have to much to render.
It could be as simple as waiting for the first render. Some things need to be saved before they work right. Does it lag throughout the game or just at startup?
Did you use the decal's texture id or asset id? The texture id would be the correct id to enter in the mesh properties.
Can I try this mesh/decal combo on my own? Do you have the asset id's or a freemodels of them? |

| I just put the decal on the mesh again, and it caused no lagg this time. Thank you for your answer though. |
