I'm surprised players don't like them, they are very easy to get used to, and are mega-epic!
I only saw the jump one for a bit, and I understand that - the arms going side-to-side can change gameplay a bit, but come on. The Walking animation is perfect, the climbing animation is only altered slightly from the old one, etc.
I overall love the new animations, and hope they stay forever, or until even better ones come out.
Tell me why you dislike the walking animation please, that one is so epic, I don't see how it's possible to dislike it lol. |

Too much torso wiggling.
They also ruin custom morphs that are based around the old animations. |

@robloxian
The structure of the Animation script is still the same, so morphs should be fine.
@scrin
True lol.
Forgot to mention 1 thing, the only minor thing I don't like about the new animations. Since the Idle 2 animation where your arms go back and forth is still on, it isn't in sync with the new Idle 1 animation since it was made for the original Idle 1 animation.
The wiggling duirng walking is extremely minor. I only even notice it when I walk while being able to see my face. Other than that, it's so suddle that I don't even notice it lol, but that's me. |

My belief is that the new animations are quite awful.
And here's why:
The name ROBLOX is a mash-up between Robot and Block(x). When was the last time you saw a robot jumping and looking like it was a dying whale torpedoing to Mars.
And breathing, like, it would scare me if the robot in the room was breathing. And then there's the walking, it looks like someone is desperately trying not to fall when they walk, like that weird little "AHHHHH SHOVE FEET FORWARD HURRYY!!!"
I get the point of them, to add to realism. But I think there's a good reason why ROBLOX is called ROBLOX and why the characters default looks like blocks put together.
Catch my drift? |

I do, but ROBLOX wants to be as realistic as possible. This does not mean that ROBLOX will be almost like real life in the future, it means it will be closer and closer to it, while still having that blocky feel.
Im mostly confused about why players don't like the new walk animation, it's more realistic, while being slower than the old new one which users complained about being too fast compared to the original walk. |

wait so, sprinting like a complete idiot for two feet then breathing like you just ran a marathon is realistic |

| The newest animations are slower than the old newer ones, thus meaning that they are less sprinting. And the breathing is barely noticeable. |
