Everyone is saying that the new animations are bad. Now, I can see that, due to opinions, they're worse than the old animations.

But I can't see ANY problems with them. At all.

They aren't all choppy like the old ones, and they just generally don't have any problems.

Can someone give me a specific reason that they're bad, without bringing the old ones in with it?

@Build, they didn't ruin it with this new one, but they ruined it in 2013, or as Gordon would like me to say "Advanced" it, but it has ruined the gameplay of SFOTHO/SFOTHIV for me permanantly.
Also you don't have to mock everything I say.

To be blunt, ROBLOX was never "at its best".

For the most part (and with few exceptions) updates on ROBLOX are just addons to the original concept.

Materials, new body parts, faces, shirts and pants (and "Shirts" being renamed to "T-shirts"), GUI's, Gear and roughly MOST UPDATES THAT PEOPLE NOTICE are either unnoticeable or optional.

That's not fully relevant to the "animations argument", but I felt that it needed to be said again.

Reasons it ruined SF

-Old animations You have to stay on ground to do most of your combat, so it is a more level, fair playing ground, now you can jump off of a freaking building and kill people on your way down with 1000% more ease.

-The length of swords lunges have changed, which either forced the "True Old animationers" to find old animation places to SF/make old animation script copies, or caused us to adapt into a new, more OverPowered form

-Last - Lots of people I know quit over this because they mainly played roblox for sword fighting, and than to basically have to re learn it was very annoying

In my opinion, it had "altered", not ruined swordfighting, because of the new animations. When you jump, you aim forward, not backwards. c:

well all i can say is sucks to be them sword fighting lovers like u because i don't like the update for nostalgic reason but in all i don't really care about the update.

The first two aren't true, but if people are quitting over being unable to play swordfighting games, that's on them. That doesn't make ROBLOX bad, especially when you consider that many players will complain about literally anything, be it fully optional or fully transparent.
