Hello, I am currently making a game that no one has ever thought of Before. i really can't tell you here what its about, but it is going to be awsome. But Before i can even Think of releasing it to the public, i must solve this problem.
I need a scripter to change a bit in the scripts for the Compass or maybe the egg trackers to Point at a certain vector3 position. i tried to do it myself however i have low scripting skills and i couldn't find anything about it on the help forums.
For example: Brick a is in the vector 3 position 25, 50, 78 the Compass shall Point at Brick a and change directions(if youre in front of the brick, the Compass shall Point behind you, if youre left to the brick, the brick shall Point to the left..)
Anyone who is interested Message me or post here. Credits will be given in the game + subscription and i will also pay you if that is necessary. |

| No one here cares about your opinion about how none of us can script. |

You know what? I apologize for earlier. I was being rude. Im sure you all can script better than me. I wasn't thinking when creating this thread. I solved the problem by myself. Thanks for all helpful replies! |

| You could figure out a vector, convert that to angles, set the brick to above the player, rotate it to face the brick from the angles found from your conversion. Or you could just do it the easy way that only requires one line. |

You don't believe in a short one line snippet that does all of this for you? |

| lol thanks. but i already knew that much since it exists in the Compass script. although if you want the Arrow to Point at a part you need to multiply it with CFrame.Angles(math.rad(x),math.rad(y),math.rad(z)) |

^No you don't. CFrame.new(Vector3 Position, Vector3 PointTo)^
CFrame.new(Vector3.new(5,5,5), Vector3(-5,-5,-5)) -- Sets a part at 5,5,5 and makes it face -5,-5,-5
CFrame.new(Vector3.new(0,2,0), Vector3.new(10,129,1)) --Sets a part at 0,2,0 and makes it face 10,129,1 |
