@MarkyShark:
Yeah. Even though back in 2004 things were still great, the differences between 1994 and 2004 were bigger. Technology, video games, and fashion are the big three.
TECHNOLOGY
1994: VCRs, 1-foot phones or very primitive cellphones, cube desktops, walkmans 2004: DVD players, 6 inch cellphones, laptops, iPods 2014: Netflix or even Blu Ray, 5 inch iPhones, tablets, smartphone
VIDEO GAMES
1994: SNES, Sega 2004: PS2, X-Box 2014: X-Box 360, Wii
FASHION
1994: Flannel, ripped jeans, piercings, tattoos 2004: Ultra glammy clothing, piercings, even more tattoos 2014: Yet again, tattoos and piercings, the fashion is still a bit glammy but also found its hipster cousin
TV
1994: Sitcoms, adult cartoons 2004: Crime investigation shows, reality shows, adult cartoons 2014: See 2004 |

| @TextBased: Don't forget that the economy peaked in around 1999-2000. |
