My dog almost killed it
It's still alive... Does anyone know how to feed a baby bird? |

KEEP IT WARM!!
Also look around the yard for a nest, it is a complete myth that if you touch it that the mother will not take it back.
If you find the nest PUT IT IN.
Do you have a low watt heatlamp?
Put it in a box with blankets, do not cover it up, and put the lamp over it, preferably 40-60 watts about 12 inches above it.

OK, first you need a straw or an eyedropper.
Mush up some bird feed or I guess whole wheat bread and add water to make it into a paste.
Put some into the eyebropper and put it over the birds beak, try to get it in the beak.
Then squeeze it it SLOWLY, make sure the bird is eating it.
And if you don't have an eyedropper use a straw. Chew up the birdseed or bread and literally spit it into the birds beak through the straw. |

Is it making any noise?
mind you that a cat could have dragged it away from the nest an shook it around running with it.
Is there any puncture wounds? |

@Feel, it may well die anyway. :C
Who knows how it got in the driveway, a larger bird like a crow, falcon, or hawk could have even carried it away.
And OPs dog could also have injured it. |
