Here is a little story I wrote for whoever is interested. Mind you, this is only parts one and two, so there will be more posted up on the forum. Leave feedback and tell me how it was, please enjoy.
The Setting Sun to Your Dismay CHAPTER I "Introduction" (WIP Name) (Also names and meanings: Akio ~ Glorious Hero | Ichirou ~ First Son (At least the only important names) (eh other than hiroshi meaning generous, not too sure about how reliable my source was however))
The sky seemed pink as a cherry blossom, the sun slowly lowered below the horizon. The children would play around near the beach, tossing about paper kites and splashing in the water. Time seemed to skip by like a stone upon water , soon enough the sun was no longer in sight, the moon only visible. These were times of slavery, but one woman seemed to treat it like society, the woman known simply as 'mistress.' The Mistress had owned an island, with a couple hundred slaves, literally creating her own society and becoming a living deity to the people, whom saw her as the most generous, fair and beautiful lady in the entire island. The 'Mistress' would elect two slaves to be her own personal slaves at the beginning of each lifetime. The two slaves she'd first taken upon herself would be the brother pair of Ichirou and Akio. Both Ichirou and Akio did quite get along, Akio being fifteen years of age and Ichirou eighteen years of age. Before they even knew it, Akio and Ichirou were simply pot salesmen, assisting their sickly mother and working father day in, day out. One day, on the street doing their usual job, 'Mistress' was on her daily stroll through the small town, looking upon each and every one of her so called 'subordinates.' To her dismay, she'd been looking for another couple of personal slaves. She had happened to stumble upon the pot shop, slowly approaching Akio as he stood outside the shop, attempting to attract peoples' attention to their pottery. "Ah, M-Mistress," Akio had said, his face boiling red at the sight of her beauty, getting on his hands and knees, bowing to her. "Oh, please, there is no need to bow." Mistress would state, giggling a little bit playfully. Akio slowly then rose to his feet, apologizing, then politely asking what her business would be, "Mistress, what would you be doing around these parts? It is quite dangerous around these commons for royalty like yourself." She'd then smile gently at him, saying "I'm to be looking for two more of my personal subordinates. One would do perfect, but I'd much prefer having two others around than one, it gets quite lonely at the castle..." Akio's face slowly lit up, the Mistress would be slowly looking at their fine pottery. "Quite interesting pieces, unlike what you'd see in the castle!" She seemed to speak with a quite interested, generous tone, playfully looking around at the pottery. She'd slowly grabbed a pot, looking to Akio and asking "How much would this one be? It'd fit well in my room." He'd looked at her and slowly said, "Well... for free, Mistress. If it is you of course!" The 'WELCOME' sign at the dirty shop window would slowly flicker, then the lights dimmed to off. She'd then say "I see. Well, thank you." She'd gleefully look at him and smile, stepping back to the street and walking back in the direction of the castle. Ichirou, the brother of Akio would slowly walk out of the shop, seeing his Mistress walking in the streets with her new pot. He'd quickly run up to her, saying "Mistress! Let me help you with that." He seemingly forced it out of her hands, her face then drooping a bit, but nevertheless continuing on as he held the pot for her, chatting about how poor their shop is and such. Akio would simply sit back at the shop, slowly letting out a sigh. He slowly then walked back inside as the sun had already downed hours ago, walking up to his bedroom, flipping the light switch off and climbing into bed.
The Setting Sun to Your Dismay CHAPTER II "Unexpected Joy"
The sun would slowly rise above the horizon, the day coming to an opening at the Akiyama residence (Completely forgot to give Akio and Ichirou a last name, so here you go.) with the noise of the front door opening then shutting. Akio would slowly climb out of bed, running downstairs to see who it was, noticing Ichirou had walked in with a face of joy, looking quite euphoric, yet tired. He'd been pacing around the room, then stopping and looking at Akio. "We.. this is great! THIS IS GREAT!" Ichirou would scream. Akio quickly then ran up to him, grabbing him by the shoulders, screaming "WHAT?! WHAT IS SO GREAT?!" Ichirou would then stare him straight in the face with a wide smile, saying "I-I got us to be Mistress' personal assistants!" Akio's face would then gently droop, saying "But.. what about mother..? And father..." He'd sigh, letting go of his shoulders, looking down to the ground. "Our Mistress offered to pay for the medicines herself and allow us to see them whenever we want! This is TOO great!" Akio's face would then light back up, looking to his brother with a smile. He'd then slowly begin to giggle like a kid once more, then saying "What do we need to do?! We should pack..!" Slowly the front door would then open, mistress slowly walking through with her kind, gentle smile. Akio and Ichirou's faces would then gently turn pink, seeing her gleaming beauty. She'd then open her mouth, saying with a small giggle "No need to pack, boys. Just come with me, okay?" They'd then gently nod, looking to her, trying to keep their joy contained, slowly walking with her out the door. The streets were quite empty for some reason, they'd then slowly walk up the trail toward the castle. It could be seen, the sun behind just behind it, casting a large shadow over the commons, it would very slowly rise. Soon they'd arrive at the castle. What would await them at the front gates to the castle would be many of the Mistress' personal butlers, maids and guards. Everything seemed so different from down in the commons. Electricity and mechanics were uncommon, making everything so that it seemed like some sort of steampunk, renaissance castle. Akio's eyes moved around the room, eyes gleaming in the lights strung from the chandelier. They'd then stop just before the large stares down the entrance corridor, turning around and looking at them. She would then curtsily bow to them, saying "Welcome to the castle, Akio and Ichirou." |

| Also please don't mind the odd paragraphing, it's just because I made this in notepad so the lines go as long as the end of my screen, which causes really weird paragraphing. You should be able to tell when a paragraph ends anyway, I think. |
