| I'm working on a game, but I hate scripting, and I'm not good at it. I'm great at building, but I can't script. |

A truly good game requires a balance of building and scripting, but it is possible to make a good game without any scripts.

| You can build beautiful places without scripts. However, you can use the odd free model script, I see no problem with that. |

I think Merely is a good example in this case. I copied this straight from Merely's blurb:
"I'm a hybrid of a scripter and a builder. I can do neither very well, but I excel at combining them."
Yin and yang. Balance.

| I really need a basic scripting tutorial from a really good scripter. I tried ScriptOn, but I didn't get it. |

There are a lot of youtube tutorials that you can watch, or you can visit wiki.roblox.com.

It is possible to make a good place, but I'm not sure it would be a game. It could definitely be a showcase of building talent, but it would probably lack the functionality of the game.
Of course, as others have said, free model scripts are always available! |

@Gord
Most free model scripts are as specific as I want them to be, but if I learn how to script a little, I can modify them. |

| Use free models. I tried making a place with free models and editing the scripts. I've learned so much from free models! |

This model is a vignette: http://www.roblox.com/---item?id=50935111
One of my places is actually going to be a massive vignette, once it stops lagging so I can finish it.

You can try and make a building showcase, like BloxBusterBCC's games.
Actually, I have a difficult time finishing projects, so I'm working on a building showcase myself:

^Absolutely no scripting involved, although my friend wants to build a roller coaster for me.

| It's a game where I need some on touch gui scripts, where you touch a brick, a gui comes up, and showcases a few words for a few seconds. And a very advanced start menu, with options to play, and the game title, and update log. Or a fixed camera on a surfaceGUI which can do the same thing as a start menu. I realize that without some major scripts, this stuff would be virtually impossible. |

| Yeah of course you can. But you usually need insane plugins. |
