ok, so now that its been a bit, most who wanted to see it have seen it, what did you think
MUTOs were awesome, i thought loved the designs, the sounds, the tactics, all that especially loved the EMP thing that was cool
loved Godzilla looked awesome, easily one of my favorite designs right up there with Heisei and Millennium Godzilla personally, i thought the 'less is more' approach with Godzilla was good for starting a series now that the world knows Godzilla exists, and is seen as a possible good guy, maybe we can see more of him in the next two movies
soundtrack was lacking tho.. not bad, but nothing great, tho the opening sequence was pretty bad ass
they shouldve built the story around Cranston's person, i think was a much more interesting character then our bomb-guy (who never actually deactivated any bombs)
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa i wanted to see this again so bad, i love it

| Skreeonk is what Godzilla fans have decided is the phonetic spelling of his roar. |

Ohhh I was told in one godzilla movie, they used a leather glove covered in pine resin and ran it down a double bass guitar to make his roar |

@guinea ye, bt he still looked cool as all hell/thats what they did in the original to make his roar, and they kept that for some time for this new movie tho, they'er keeping quiet on how they did his roar
@dapper that bit when they finally revealed Godzilla oh my god, i hadn't been so giddy since Gypsy Danger came striding through the streets with that boat-sword, and even that didn't come close to how excited i got seeing the King's big return/actually, its a term adopted by fans from a comic book thing what went with that as an onomatopoeia for Godzilla's roar, kinda like the TARDIS' vworp

Right? Soooo good.
As a Kaiju fan from like...the age of 4 it was a huge thrill to see a big budget adaptation of the King on the big screen. It had a little bit for everyone too. It was heavily influenced by the serious 1955, it had some silly monster fights, some ineffective military guys, just great.
There was a rumor going around that the Director wants the second film to feature Monster Island...which...aww man, my head would explode. |

and yeyeye i loved that bit at the golden gate bridge i really wish you couldve seen the fight at the airport tho as funny as the "mommy look, dinosaurs!" joke was, the fight looked like it wouldve been awesome
and ye, i heard about that dont know if it would be a good idea for the second one tho.. feels a bit too soon for something that grand. gotta build up, yknow?

@dapper " influenced by the serious 1955" there was nothing serious about Godzilla Raids Again the whole thing was an hour of disappointing stupidity, especially if you were watching the dub
the only thing i couldve imagined you talking about was the 1954 film

I would argue that even the 1998 American Godzilla AND Raids again are still head and shoulders above Godzilla's Revenge.
I still have no clue what I watched... |

@trench to be honest, '98 "God"zilla isnt nearly as bad as people put it its biggest let down was that it was supposed to be Godzilla now to be fair, the movie was pretty bad, but i wouldnt put it below Raids Again, thought thats mostly because as his own thing, Zilla actually looks kinda cool
@guinea yes, yore awesome, and so is your name
especially your name

| At least the Cartoon show it spawned had actual Kaiju V.S Kaiju and Zilla used Atomic Breath in that as well. |
