Yeah yeah we lost the war horribly and all that.
We're in bad shape.
If you all want another opportunity to trash us, feel free. I'm opening up our base-in-progress for everyone on here to see, if only for a few minutes. Why? Because we're hated. There's nothing better (to me) than getting the opinions of people that will try their hardest to find anything wrong with your product.
I can't give a full tour, so here's an explanation. Keep in mind, I'm the lead builder. I'm not the scripter, so there's no code here.
Immediately behind you, is the raider base. The building to your right is the raider boat spawn. The island is going to house a capture point.
Further along is the RAT side, which is basically mirrored. The white block is the boat spawn, then the base.
This is what we're leaning on, and what we hope will help get us back on our feet. We are in a hole, and I won't deny it, but there's nothing wrong with trying to get out.

Yes, it's halo based.
Detailing comes later, yes there will be more cover.

Indistinct, I actually really respect RAT.
I tried RAT out for a few days, and I didn't much like you guys use a point system, which has always been really hard for me to get past, especially in big clans. I am a developer myself as well, I video edit, I graphic design, and I used to build a whole lot but not much anymore.

Triangle terrain has always felt clunky or at least a lack of detail to me
It is better done here, but the triangular form is still bothersome
The mountains are nicely done, it is good to support mountain climbing in bases
As for the interior of the base, it looks nice from what little I've seen
That thumbnail made me cry a little, but then I've always been stupidly cynical |
