I personally can't create methods so here is my suggestion in form of a function.
The idea is that the AwardPoints method checks if the given userId matches with game.CreatorId. If it does, it will not award points.
It is kind of silly how some game owners give themselves millions of player points instead of giving them away to players. Player Point markets are ok-ish as long as the owner can't give himself points.
--// My idea:
AwardPoints = function(userId, amount) if userId == game.CreatorId then return "Invalid Player" end --// Give Player Points to player return "Success!" end |

You can modify your own game so you can't get points anyways, like so:
if userID ~= game.CreatorId then game:service("PointsService"):AwardPoints(player,1) end
So, this is doable. Are you saying that you want this built-in and not optional to let game creators earn points from their own games too? |

My point exactly. If this is too much for some, maybe ROBLOX could award like a 15th of the Points given to the server via purchase straight to the Creator. |

| I don't really see the point if you can code this yourself, but I do agree that it is selfish from the game devs perspective to steal all their own player points in-game via code for them only lol, I would want players to earn as much points as they can from my game. |

I guess. And I like the auto-awards of 1/10th or 1/15th of the pp to owner automatically.

It's your points, you should be able to do anything you want with them.
Even if they can't give them to themselves, they can give them to their alts. |

Sameuelking, aye, but to your first points: It makes leaderboards (global) useless. Maybe the PP giving-out would have to be moderated by an admin first to do anything on the global leaderboards? An "official" game of sorts? (Apoc games, COR5/6 etc.).
Something to think about. |

| Support, but the creators can still give the PP to good friends and there is no way to really prevent that. |

| Yes, but at least people won't have 6M+ points so easily. |

| What if they proxied the points to one of their alts and then had the alt's place give them to the creator? |

A player can't give points to player. A player can't give points to server. |

| Yes, because you use the userId to award points. |
