(I am returning to my roots by making a reboot of my first thread and making it fit the original concept of my story.)
TABLE OF CONTENTS:
#1: The Guide.
#2: Plot
#3: Rules (Note: Character Sheets are in the guide.) --------------------------------------------------------- <::THE GUIDE OF FANTASY GAIDEN::>
You can view the guide of Fantasy Gaiden here.
http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=134224038
The guide has detailed information about Races, Classes, The Setting, Magic, and other kinds of things. It'd be a good idea to read a little bit of it before making a character. (It also has the character sheets in it, and Q&A in case you have questions.) --------------------------------------------------------- <::THE PLOT OF FANTASY GAIDEN::>
Amidst the rolling hills and deep forests, darkness floats on the breeze like a raging fire travels through a city. We live in a world where death comes from above, and chaos reigns below; a world where hatred plagues the hearts of man and demons walk the earth.
Yet in this darkness, there is a small shred of light; one that is trying to fight all the evil that we hold in our hearts.
He who fights with monsters might take care; lest he thereby become a monster himself. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.
-----
The continent of Antarion has been at war with the far western isle of Morgaria Soltia for some time; yet it seems that the Archannian royal family has finally won the war and once again defended the continent from invasion.
However, unbeknownst to the inhabitants of Antarion, there is something far more sinister at work. And in the midst of it all, stands none other than yourself.
Your journey begins in a small and simple inn, located in an unamed village. The events that are about to play out before you could never have been guessed by anyone or anything and it's up to you to decide where your loyalties will stand.
Who and what will you fight for? --------------------------------------------------------- <::THE RULES OF FANTASY GAIDEN::>
There are three very simple sets of rules that players must follow.
#1: Basic Rules.
#2: Character Rules.
#3: Combat Rules. ---------------
BASIC RULES:
1: What I say, goes.
2: "It's not in the rules" is no excuse. See rule 1.
3: If a troll posts, ignore them.
4: If you say you're going to join, you're expected to join. If you decide not to join after you've already stated you would, please inform me in a PM.
5: If you DO join, you are expected to actually Roleplay. And not just sit dormant for five weeks or longer.
6: I control any and all NPCs unless you are given permission by me. Attempting to control one on your own without permission will result in a warning. If you continue to do so, it may result in my asking you to leave the thread.
7: You Roleplay by story. No making up your own lore, your own places, or anything of your own. Your character is from this land and from this world.
8: Story over Rules. If I so decide that you may not take an action, or an action is taken against you so as to progress the story, or benefit it; there will be no arguments. Whatsoever.
9: In no way, do I have to cater to you or your character.
10: Character Knowledge vs Player Knowledge. If players know something about a certain character, object or place, that the characters don't know about, your character cannot suddenly have a great epiphany about said thing. Example, if a character is a noble in disguise who is running from their family due to some kind of dark curse, and the player mentions this in his/her bio; your character may not, under ANY circumstances, make an offhand joke about how maybe they are actually a noble in disguise who is running from their family due to some kind of dark curse. This is an annoying thing that crops up every so often in Roleplays, and I won't tolerate it here. Just because you know, that doesn't mean your character knows. It's not funny, it's stupid.
11: ALL players must make character sheets. No exceptions. This isn't an ISRP. Make a character sheet and wait for it to be accepted if you want to join.
CHARACTER RULES:
#1: All Character Sheets MUST be detailed.
A simple rule. You need to be detailed with your character.
One, two or three sentences does not count as being detailed. Describe your character greatly; describe their appearance, their personality, their bioagraphy, etc. And don't be vague. The first step to making a good and relatable character, is to be detailed. If your character has no effort or detail put into him/her, no one will like them or relate to them.
#2: Characters can die.
Characters can, and probably will, die in Fantasy Gaiden. If a character dies, that doesn't mean that they are dead forever, or that the player has to leave the thread or create a new character. (Well, unless they want to.)
Characters can be brought back to life through many means in Fantasy Gaiden.
Character death is only decided by the role of the dice, which I will talk about next. (Note: I have added this feature due to too many Roleplays having little to no consequences for reckless actions.)
#3: Characters are not allowed to come from "mysterious backrounds".
I have seen far too many people make lackluster, half-hearted character sheets, with little to no detail; and then try to use the excuse of "Well, he's mysterious, and I don't wanna reveal anything just yet, so that it'll be a mystery and a big shock when it's revealed!" Yeah no, if you're not going to put detail in your character, and are going for the "mysterious" route, that means I already know what kind of twist you're going to add. The excuse of not wanting to reveal anything "yet" is exactly that; just an excuse from a lazy roleplayer. Mysterious or amnesiac characters are not permitted. Period.
COMBAT RULES:
#1: "Dice".
In order to make combat in Fantasy Gaiden 100% fair, I will once again be using a virtual dice roller to determine the outcomes of actions in combat. When I say "I will be using the dice", that means I will be the only one "rolling" the dice to determine outcomes, as others could easily fabricate a number to benefit themselves. In other words, I'm simply taking a precaution to ensure that combat is fair, and that there are no loopholes. If you don't like this idea, I apologize, but too many people drag out fights by constantly dodging attacks, or blocking them.
#2: Story over Rules.
I like to use the term "Story over Rules" a lot, and the meaning behind it is simple. If I choose NOT to roll, and simply decide an outcome for a combat action, so as to benefit the story or set up a strong villain; that is my choice, and as such is for the story. At the start of the adventure, there may be a few of these, fair warning beforehand.
#3: Protected by Plot.
There will be a time when I place a character in front of players and I will say "[Protected by Plot]". What this means, is that this particular character cannot be killed or beaten at the current point of the Roleplay, because the plot, A: Doesn't call for it. B: They are killed or beaten at another point. Or of course, C: There is a specific reason I won't reveal, such as their redemption later on, or not having the right means to dispose of them.
If I give a character "Protection by Plot", I have a reason for it. |

Mikayia Feinglow Female Elf Sub: Pale Elf 16yrs
Class: Spellblade (custom) Mikayia possessed a unique form of magic, that most wizards would consider weak. It can only manifest itself, through a weapon she wields. The bulk to the spells she can use, are weapon enchantments, or some sort of elemental discharge from the tip of her weapon.
At her current level, she can enchant her weapons with elemental power, and glow to provide light. No limit to how many times she can apply a different enchantment, but applying a new one will always remove the previous one.
She can fire very basic elemental magic from her weapons tip, or blade as a sweeping wave. SWORDS FURY SPELL: 10 casts per day.
Her skill with magic is not nearly as good at her skill with the blade, leading to rather low-tier enchantments and magical projectiles.
Appearance Mikayia is a young, beautiful elf girl with shining green eyes, that as of recently, have been dulled by her grief. She has a soft face, and long ears, typical of an elf. Her hair is feathery, and it even looks soft. Her bangs curve slightly, framing her face. One lock of hair goes down at the centre of her forehead, ending just at her eye-line. Her hair is pale blonde, with streaks of silver running through it. Mikayia stands at 5' 6", and has a lithe body type, with noticeable feminine features. Her skin is pale, bordering on being snow-white, but it seems unbothered by the sun.
Equipment Mikayia wears a tunic, that can tie up as far as she wants, tightened by bits of thin leather ties. The chest of the tunic is dark green, while the sides and sleeves are pale- green, almost white. The tunic fits her very well. She has a tight belt made of burgundy leather, with a strap that's attached to a sword sheath that rests beside her hips. She has a skirt, made of the same material as her tunic that stops at her knees. It has a V-cut in the front, to let her move her legs well. Her pants are tight-fitting hide, dyed a brown-red colour that looks faded. Her boots and gloves are a matching soft leather set, dyed burgundy, with red and gold trimming. She wears a dark grey cloak over top, with a moon brooch to keep it pinned. Mikayia wields a decently-crafted steel sword, that's caught between a Longsword and a Great Sword. She can use it one-handed, or two-handed if she desires. It has a simple T-Hilt and a golden pommel.
Personality Serious, and shy, almost bordering on fear of other people. She used to be very friendly and kind... Perhaps if someone can show her what it's like again, that will come back. The "Pale elf" side of her is difficult to keep repressed. A deep anger and desire to shed blood in unpleasant ways.
Bio Mikayia was born in a mostly elvish town, to a family of Pale Elves who worked hard to abolish the stereotypes that their race had surrounding them. She lived easily, while working hard. At 13yrs, she started training with a sword, and people around her were surprised by how quickly she picked up on the art of swordsmanship. She favoured a balance of two-handed and one-handed styles. Her town was attacked, slaughtered. She lost everybody she had ever known in one night. She was powerless to stop the marauders from killing everyone and stealing everything. All she could do, was hide and pray she wasn't found. As the dawn came, all of the bandits were killed swiftly by one elf... A Half-Elf who helped her bury the dead, and a Half-Elf she now seeks to prove her fighting skill to, just so she won't have to be alone.
Strengths Melee fighting, and 'surprising' the enemy with a bit of magic. Very fast paced and unrelenting sword style: made to overwhelm a weaker opponent quickly. Against same skill, or better, she has to slow herself down.
Weakness Keeping herself calm when provoked (Does not include fighting an enemy that doesn't talk/ provoke anger by taunting). People that try to start arguments that are intelligent don't get far with Mikayia, as she usually gets very aggressive. Keeping a rein on her emotions in general. Her magic isn’t that strong.
Strength/weakness(?) As a pale elf, being angry at your enemy in combat can be helpful. It makes her more brutal and wild, unpredictable and deadly in combat... But, it makes her not think through her attacks straight. She has unbreakable determination, almost bordering on obsession to get a goal in her mind finished. For some things, this is a very good thing to have... For others, it can be an unhealthy obsession.
Other: She likes lemon-flavoured sweets, but tries to stay away from them due to how sugary and unhealthy they are for her. Perhaps after doing something she deems worthy of giving herself a treat...
Example-thingy
The Pale Elf, with her namesake snow-white skin, and blonde silver-streaked hair seats herself at the Inns counter. Mikayia pulls her hood down, and shakes her hair loose. "Evening lass. What'll you have?" The elderly, thin innkeeper asks, ending with a cough that he covers with his forearm. "And if y' don't mine me asking... Why are you here?" He coughs again. "Most the travellers head down to the Weeping Willows tavern for stronger drinks, and less light." Mikayia smiles at the old man. Indeed, this inn was in better condition, looking much more comfortable and warm than the tavern she had just left. "I'll just have wine. And ehm... I may... Have run in to trouble at the tavern." She leans back, fondly remembering the "trouble" she had caused an hour before. She left one of the patron with a broken face, his teeth and blood on a table after smashing his face in to it with considerable force. That's not to mention a fierce pain between his legs. In her mind, the human had it coming with his bragging about feats he most assuredly didn't do and drunken "flirting" if that stumbling and crude words could be called that, directed at one of the barmaids who's job it was to not say a word about it. Naturally, a fight broke out amongst the rowdy drunks. A fight which the fuming Mikayia had enough sense to stay out of. She left through a window that was broken by a thrown chair, and sat in an alley for a while to calm herself down, before trying this inn.

(@Akkure: Accepte,d and as usual, your word is law when I'm not around.)
It's a small village, though it looks like a town in appearance. Cobblestone is set into the ground, and matching stone walls surround the place, keeping out unwanted guests and shutting out the dangerous night.
To the east, near a wall and flanked by a small alley, is a tavern. It looks normal enough on the outside, but it's what's on the inside that counts.
It's walls are a dark burgundy on the inside, as are all of it's woodworks. The room is spacious, and is full of tables and chairs.
To the immediate west of the entrance is the counter, where food and drinks are ordered, and moving northwest from there would bring you to the rooms for rent.
To the east of the main room's center is a second door, leading out into the alley, and not far from that is a fireplace. At the center of the room is a large square stage, where a female Kitsune dances around to the exotic music played by the few bards working at the tavern.
She wears a red cloth around her chest, and a long red loincloth that falls down to her knees. Around her ankles and wrists are several golden rings, and she dances with a pair of scarlet hand fans. For those that know of her dances, they know that she never messes up, as her nine tails help her balance. |

A hooded elf walks in to the tavern, fulling expecting that she won't stay the night there, as is usual for her. And like many non-regular tavern patrons, she enters with her cloak drawn around her, and her hood obscuring her facial features. Her blonde and silver bangs however, can be seen. She catches sight of the Kitsune, though she doesn't know that's what it's called, and she looks on curiously. Mikayia finds an empty table near the wall and seats herself. She sits in a position where she can watch the strange creature. If you had told Mikayia before she entered the innocuous tavern, that she would find a Kitsune dancing on a stage inside... She would ask what a Kitsune was, for starters. The many-tailed, clearly female creature that she could only describe as something between an animal and a human, was a curiosity to Mikayia.
She stops watching the dance too look around the room for a barmaid, or the tavernkeeper. She looks to see if she has to order from the counter herself. Mikayia turns her attention back to the creature... Perhaps if she stayed around long enough for her to stop dancing, she could ask it some questions. She relaxes in to the chair, folding her arms on top of the table. |

There are a few moments of waiting before Mikayia's question is answered.
A barmaid approaches the table that the newcomer has sat at and asks her if there is anything that she can get her.
The tavern isn't poorly illuminated, but it seems that most of the sources of light were used for the stage, so seeing the barmaid is a bit harder than it seems at first. |

| Mikayia sits straighter in her seat, looking up and pulling her hood down. Even in the low light, her skin catches light easily. "Chicken soup? If you have that..." She reaches to her waist, unclasping the flask made of hard leather and capped with iron to keep its shape, kept on her belt. He holds it out for the barmaid. "Could I get this filled too? With water, I mean." |

(One error I noticed. You put "Valmara" as your race. (A few other things that are mostly opinion... How is she 9, and with no training, skilled in priestly magic? It does not sound possible at all.) |

(Second error I just noticed. You did not put "Half Elf" as your race. You need to put that as your race, and choose which two 'subraces' you are from. And then you pick ONE inherited ability from one of the races. You cannot have both of them. ) |

(@Minun: Akkure has already addressed the first few errors, now I'll adress the last few.)
(Firstly, is this. "the werewolf smashed through the doors holding her decapitated father's head." The problem there is that the werewolves of Fantasy Gaiden wouldn't be holding the man's head, as they are more primal; they don't have any instinct other than that of an animal.
Also on the subject of the werewolf, is this.
"The werewolf smelling her and he approached her.The werewolf lunged at Chris but as the werewolf's claws touched her skin the werewolf was destroyed...He disappeared in a flash a silver light."
The guide clearly says that the touch of a child, not touching the child, is what kills a Fantasy Gaiden werewolf. It also states that it kills them, not makes them disappear in a flash of light, it kills them.
Secondly, you never included a Roleplay Example in your character sheet.
And lastly, you need to make the character seem like she's nine if she's going to be nine. Why would a girl only nine years of age have her own staff, and how on earth would she already be experienced in the ways of healing magic, when there was no indication that either of her parents were clerics and she isn't even of the age of training? To be honest, the character comes off as only being nine just so you have a way to kill werewolves; I'm sure that's not what it was meant to be, but that's what it comes off as.) |

The barmaid takes the flask and stutters a reply.
"O-Of course, please, please wait for just a few minutes!" she says.
She walks over towards the counter and begins speaking with the bartender.
It's at this point that the music finally stops, and amidst a bit of applause, the Kitsune hops off of the stage and makes her way for the door of the alley. As she steps outside and closes the door, a group of men heads outside through the front door, while another group goes out into the alley.
They all wear the same attire; white cotton tunics with their sleeves torn off, and simple farming trousers and boots with pads sewn onto them. Several of them have short blades or axes hanging from sashes, and the group is not only rather large, but also heading outside at a rather convenient time.
Although it looks like nobody notices, it's clear by their body language that they don't want to notice. |

Mikayia gets up from her chair, and loudly asks the bartender to "Hold on to the soup for a little while!" drawing a bit more attention than she would have liked. With the proper grace and light footsteps of an Elf, Mikayia crosses the taverns floor, to the door the Kitsune left from. If you hadn't looked at her feet, you could have sworn that she was floating.
She swings the door open wide, leaning out and looking in both directions of the alley quickly. |

Outside in the alley, at least twelve of the group stand in front of the Kitsune, and either ten or eleven stand behind her. Her tails flick in annoyance as she listens to one of them speak.
"We were watching you." he says. "And we were wondering what a pretty little thing like you was doing out here all by yourself, after all, you're far from home."
The others start laughing at this but go silent as he continues.
"They say that Kitsune can do a lot of rather interesting things, and that selling one to the right person could fetch a high price."
He reaches out and attempts to run a hand over her muzzle, but the Kitsune snaps at his fingers, causing him to jerk back. He grins as he takes a few steps towards her.
"They say "never trust a vixen", and I see why." he says. "...Huh, what was that? Hey boys, did she just volunteer to come with us so that we can sell her?"
The others all nod in agreement.
"That's what we heard, boss!" they say. |

Hearing the word "selling" is enough for Mikayia it pick her side. She grasps the handle of her sword, right at the top at it's hilt and pulling it free of it's scabbard at her hip. Taking it in both of her hands, Mikayia performs a two-step lunge. Her first step is with her left foot, and it's more of a long hop. Her second step with her right foot is shorter, and is accenuated by thrusting the sword straight at the back of one of the men. She fully expects to hit one of the unaware men, but even if she were to somehow miss, she would swing her sword in a wide stroke, angled upwards. It's aim is to cut as many people as possible.
After the cut, she takes two steps back, holding her sword close to her side and pointed forward, read for another lunge. |

As two of the men meet their end on the point of Mikayia's blade, the leader turns to say something, only for the Kitsune's footpaw to crash into his face.
At the moment that her body is turning, she flips open her two hand-fans and swings them at the throats of two men dashing forward, clipping one only slightly, but ending the life of the other.
A thug swings a hatchet at Mikayia, but his poor form and wild swings hit thin air.
With only three down, that leaves around nineteen or twenty, but the numbers mixed with the slightly cramped alley makes it hard to tell. |

"You... You should just run, now." Mikayia narrows her green eyes. The dark alley is illuminated by a white light emanating from her swords blade. It accentuates her very pale skin.
One of the men charges her anyway. She takes a deep breath, dodging away and sucking in her gut to avoid a club-strike meant for her side. She knocks the mace up high with an after parry. With her sword up high, she does a C-shaped strike, cutting across the mans stomach. She follows through, bringing the blade up high again, and slicing down diagonally on to his shoulder. With the man cut down, and clearly not obeying her demand, she stands holding her sword in one hand at her side. Without a word, it's glow burns away, becoming a sheathe of flame on the blade of her sword. |
