Seriously, this stuff is creepy to me. It could mean anything. But just incase non-Russian speakers wont get mixed up, the recording says "T-E-R-R-A-K-O-T-A Mikhail. Dimitri. Zhenya. Boris."

| oh, ive heard of this before. i felt the same way about it as you do; it creeped me out. it also fascinated me, so i did some research on it. its definitely a russian military station because a) it was relocated at the same time the russian military was reorganized in 2010, and b) urban explorers went to the previous source of the transmission and claimed it was an abandoned military base. its purpose is unknown as of yet. really cool stuff. |

I've always wanted to urbex innaZone. Also numbers stations are what got me interested h=in ham radio, I'm getting my operator's license over the summer. :)

Well, me and my friends listened to some...'fail recordings' and learned that this IS intended for use. There is someone operating it, and we heard an argument in it, aswell.
