HTML is one of the easiest ones to learn, so you should pick that up quickly.
CSS is the next, easiest step, though for it to be considered a "next step" is a little questionable, since I learned both at the same time. |

Alright, I'm gonna clear up a few points here. HTML is a markup language. It provides the structure for documents on the web. CSS is a style language, and generally taught in conjunction with HTML. It's what changes the appearances of the tags. Java is unrelated to Javascript, and has little to to do with web development. Javascript is a language that allows for greater levels of interactivity on the front-end of a website.
These are fundamentally different from the imperative languages used for scripting. Don't assume that learning HTML is going to benefit you in any significantly capacity when you attempt to learn Lua. They're very different languages used for very different things.
In regards to Codeacademy, that site has major flaws. I recommend taking a legitimate online course on programming. A place you could potentially look at is Udacity. |

"lua is editted java too" Please just stop.
Lua is written in ANSI C. It's its own language, unrelated to Java. |
