Player Points have many faults.
Last I checked it was R$20 = 400 Player Points. That’s a R$:PP ratio of 1:20 and that’s way too much, because after a day many clans can get to 1Million+ PP and players can get 100K+. In a day. After a week the numbers will be too big to mean anything.
How about a PP per day count average or a percentage style system instead? Otherwise there’s going to be a lot of big meaningless numbers.
The player points system is essentially for bragging rights and serves no real purpose other than for a top few people to appear famous, and that'll just be those who are already top developers and famous, so it's pointless, right?
Wrong. Here's a couple ideas to improve it:
Instead of player points, allow developers to award some sort of experience points (keep the name Player point if you like) that can contribute to some sort of internal ROBLOX levelling system. Get enough player points and you level up, with the required points getting more as you increase your level. Throw a percentage counter in there too to show how far you are from achieving the next level.
This would be a more meaningful number than 1Billion+
Alternatively, allow players to use their PP for something like buying special 'PP' items in the catalog, or put a PP price equivalent there as well as R$/Tix, but have the ratio lowered on the PP side to make it a little more expensive so people don't just buy a load of PP. This would mean top NBC players, or NBC players as a whole would have something more to play for.
I'm not suggesting you make it an actual currency that can be traded, merely something else to buy things with.
I realise this was a long post, so if you've struggled this far I thank you.
Thoughts?

As in, use up PP on items.
Let's say there's a 20R$ hat in the catalog. You should be able to buy this with PP. 20 R$ generates 600 PP, and the ratio should be much higher in the favour of R$ so this isn't abused. So a 20R$ item would cost 1200PP item or more, say.
PP wouldn't be able to be traded in for R$ or tix, and wouldn't be treated as a currency that players/developers can use - it would only be an optional form of payment for some hats that Roblox would select.
