ln x = "10 to which power gives you x?"
So basically 10^(0.513/3) = x
Because 3 ln x = 0.513 So ln x = 0.513 / 3 Then 10 to that power = x
So if I were to give you ln 100 It would be "10, to which power, gives you 100?" And that's 10, so the answer is 10 |

So same thing
ln x = -0.513 / 3 e, to what power, gives you x? -0.513 / 3.
So x = e^(-0.513/3) Then you solve that
Always think of it like that "The base, to which power, gives you the number you're looking for?" |

@xgh Its technically a kids game but you have a lot of old lmaders And old lmaders = the guys who have been through all this stuff So its a good place to get actual responses rather than a textbook that is all gibberish |

@xGh You'd be surprised how old some people are on these forums.
@DX. Thanks. I'm freaking out about finals tomorrow, I'll be lucky to finish this work and get 3 or 4 hours of sleep at most. |

My school's gone insane It used to be you had three weeks of exam time so you could study Then they switched it to one week And now its like two days and you have 2 - 3 exams in a day and it starts the day you're out so you get as little studying time as possible |

i can help you, free
say you have 4 to the x power equals 84
use the change of base formula to obtain
4 to the 84 power equals x
now do log84
divided by
log4
and get your answer :) |

3 lnx = 0 - 5.13
First what you do is you move the 3 in the beginning of the ln to the exponent of the x.
So
lnx^3 = 0 - 5.13
Now you have to cancel the Ln on the left of the equation. Ln always has an e to the bottom. Therefore multiple ln by e.
Ln cancels out and you should have
x^3 = ln-5.13
Now you get the cube root of ln-5.13
So x = Cube root of ln-5.13
You can't have a negative in a root, therefore you make an imaginary number.
Your math teacher was dumb to put decimals in a logarithm but wutev. You get the square root of either that or you get two numbers which make up that root and put the bigger numer outside.
Another way to do it is to multiply it by 1/3 and add an imaginary.
So your answer should be
x = ln[Number here][Imaginary] OR x = ln[Number here + Imaginary] [Root]
Hope i helped.
