So after I finish my first project I wanna move to my next project.
My next project idea is a Pokemon game.
How ever the idea wont involve Pokemon models but more of game boy style.
The problem that I can decide on is this.
1.Make the Pokemon game GUI only.
2.Make it over head view and when you battle its GUI.
I am learning GUI right now so I kinda want to work with it allot.
If you can answer me your idea or any ideas that may make the game better please comment!

I know what kind of game your aiming for, and if you would like to work with that it would require a lot of GUI indeed.
I suggest a mouse over GUI on all players, suggesting to fight, capture, or play games or something. Friend maybe?
When they click the Fight Gui, it would go into a cutscene and their health gui/level will appear accordingly? It would be difficult to script however...

@Dede92 That makes some what sense.

@ vlekje513 Are you saying my game idea can not be done? I already planed most of the scripting I just have not decided the style of it.

@vlekje513 Allow user to select move, select random move for enemy, give priorities, compare speeds to come up with move order, determine if the attack can affect, determine if the attack hits or misses, play animation if it hits, calculate damage if it hits, change the opponents health when hit, determine if pokemon has fainted, play faint animation if fainted, use items if applicable, repeat the last few steps until all pokemon have moved, use items if applicable, switch out fainted pokemon if any, repeat the whole thing until one team is defeated.

@morash Great idea, it just seems a little bit complicated -- but that's just me.
I know this kind of script can be done, however.
