thoughts on overprotective parents? if you have them you'll know what i mean
So I installed dumb ways to die on my phone and my sister started playing it and they were watching her play it and just because it has a small amount of blood in two levels and vomit in one level they said "it's inappropriate"
Now they're going on every single day saying "you shouldn't be playing games like that yadda yadda yadda yadda"
if you have overprotective parents post your problem and you'd know what i'm talking about if you have overprotective parents... |

You're just whining about it. Hopefully you will grow up one day and see they helped you in a lot of ways.

Another moron who doesn't notice how annoying it really is and no, it doesn't help in any way you're socially deprived and you don't see the world as it really is and i'm not going to bring my kids up like they brought up me. |

My parents were overprotective. When I was younger, I didn't like it. Now I see they were just trying to help, it is very hard to be a parent and that was one of the small mistakes they made. Like I said, you won't see it until you grow up.

| Quite possibly, but until then I still think of this as social deprivation of how the world really works and operates. |

"You obviously don't know what it's like to have them."
I actually have what you average kids would consider "overprotective parents". I am required to give them any paid for online game pw's and usernames, except they don't care for ROBLOX, because I gave them the excuse of "too many accounts".
I am required to ask them about anything paid, and they do not mind me downloading things as long as I run a virus scan afterwards.
However, I am not required to do chores, and I am respectful and do what I'm told, unlike you teens which only key is rebellion because of your bodily changes. If something is wrong with my grades, I am required to fix it. My parents are allowed to see my screen at any time. Their strict rules is "no relationships until you are out of university". Even though most would hate this, I think it is smart and an excellent idea. |

Go ahead and think what you want, but that would not be true.

One annoying thing about all parents is that they think blood is "inappropriate", like seriously blood doesn't mean gore all the time. Why don't they react to someone stubbing their finger and bleed the same way as "inappropriate"?
It's just blood, you have blood all inside your body and they freak out about it on a screen made out of pixels? |

@razor It is because they don't want their children to watch things bleed. It is one thing to bleed in real life, it is different to wanting to watch virtual things bleed. When you think about it, it is a very weird thing that people want to watch things bleed. In real life, blood is an indicator of injury and no one wants to be injured.

| But a little child isn't playing a game to watch things bleed, and if they did play a game just to do that it's probably because of the parents. |

@razor When a little kid plays a game like that and their parents don't like it, that is what the parents will think.
