I'de wait for CSG to come out.
then I'de just be able to model it in a CAD program like blender, real as life, merge to 1 part, bam no lag.

I have already talked to the people working on it about doing things like this and they say that it will still lag, just not as much.

Considering I've seen hats on this game with 10,000+ verts, & it doesn't lag at all, I think it won't be a prob at all.
Also the CSG modeller merges around 100 parts per second without any lag,
according to my contacts. CSG will also be published soon, especially considering that they're just finalizing the legal documents involved with using another company's constructive solid geometry algorithm & engine, ect.

Modelling is far different than building. Don't consider them the same things in terms of judging lag, DieSoft.

--Considering the fact that I just ripped my entire tomb with the .obj exporter from roblox, minus the actual imports that I brought into the game, it itself being around 1,328,723 verts in total, not including that of teh actual imports I brought into it in game, as separate parts, it lags a ton, but as say maybe 3,000,
it'l lag a whole lot less.
I never said it was a solve-all to lag, it' just decreasse the lag by at least 25%-50% considering the ogre engine doesn't have to take into account multiple parts, as opposed to 1 or 2 just fuzed together as a single mesh.
Depending if the map has lots of verts, or less verts like say 13,000, it might lag, or it might not lag at all.
Smaller places will not lag at all.

The current hat combo i'm wearing right now is around 1,100 verts itself.
It'de be like having 7,000 hats in a 30/30 game, it won't lag as much as say 7,000 parts in a 30/30 game.

Your reference with Stickmasterluke was hardly conclusive, & is not in context or specific.
Less parts/verts = less lag, more parts/verts = more lag, obviously.
You didn't ask either of those question, assuming that is even SML to begin with.

Remember, it's me teaching you Blender, not vice versa.
I'll ask you when I want you 2 cents on the subject.

You even said back in that other thread, that 'beyond a shadow of a doubt, you know CSG doesn't work that way', now you title it an "assumption"?

In conclusion, Ben, you don't know what you're talking about, Diesoft, you don't know what you're talking about. Stickmasterluke does know what he's talking about, but in order to get the proper information to surface,
you must ask him specific questions,
not vague questions like;
'will 14,000,000 verts cause lag (=duh, obvs, my tomb is 1/14th less than that)'

CSG is only removing the need to have more parts in game, it does not effect voerall polycount.

VOerall polycount WILL lag, if there are a lot of models ect, just like bricks/parts.
In comparison, an E9 tomb at around 250,000 parts, with around 1 mil verts,
in comparison with;
an E9 tomb with 3,000 parts, with around 1 mil verts,
the latter simply will lag less is all.

I don't even see why you're debating this.
This is a good thing, for roblox, for you, & for everyone else.

--Assuming roblox is even around by then. & even then, by the time that age comes around, I might even have enough money to buy roblox itself if I really wanted.
Even at minimum wage working for like 60-70 years, you could have around 700k, maybe even a mil if you do double shifts, this is not including college, or making a successful product, or using talent for better income, ect.

In addition, no. Not at all.
Cirvius simply asked if I'de make him vignettes, via cframe.
I said; 'No Cirvius, I would rather make them in Blender, all realistic & what not, import to roblox, convert all parts to 1 mesh to make no lag'.

Then Ben butts his head to give his 2 cents on a CSG he knows nothing about,
then DS also interjects to give his 2 cents, & the statement of an admin relayed onto this forum via his skype chat log/contacts he has with him to try to prove his point.
Then I put in my few tl;dr's on the subject correcting & what not,
then you come along asking for jokes, of which nobody here prior to your post which came after Ben's, mine, & DS's, knew that you wanted this, or even had a way of knowing this, then you come to expect that we should be doing this for you when in fact there'd be no possibly way of knowing this.
On top of this, you now claim it's the main point of this thread, which it is not.

It's about Cirvius asking for a vignette of himself.
Why this boiled over into some kind of a flame/forum dispute, is due to Ben & DS in part, but mostly due to Ben, because he's more or less an aggressive forumer who doesn't muzzle himself, likes to interject with baseless replies, ect ect, like I wrote in my other tl;dr,s of which you can read up on if you care enough.
