pretty funny how the brits went from owning the largest empire to now owning a fraction of an island |

| William Wallace would be proud. It's a shame it took 718 years. |

William Wallace fought against English Oppression. I'm sorry, but the English aren't really oppressing the Scots anymore, are they? Independence will only cause more problems, like the currency, EU, etc. |

| British holdings i.e. Falklands and Gibraltar are quite content with the UK ruling them and a lot of them have had multiple referendums asking them if they would like to merge with another nation (In Falklands' case, Argentina. In Gibraltar's case, Spain) or become independent, and they've always come out happy with UK rule |

| I'm a Scottish person, I don't view myself at all to be Scottish, only British, going smaller makes things worse thats my view, all those idoits at the yes campaign say is "NORWAY NORWAY OH YES NORWAY" AND "OH OIL OIL, WESTMINSTER BE STEALING MAH OIL" it quite childish. |

| Whats wrong with a monarchy? its been our history, its been around for about 300 years (As part of the union) and 1000 years or something, (before the union) I say we keep it, No to a British Republic, its not very British in my eyes. |

| The queen does not have a say in government, even though everything is named as hers, the Parliament and Prime Minister make up the rules, not her, I don't see why we should dump it. |

It also brings money from tourism. People wish to see where an actual Queen lives, and not where a Queen used to live. |

above post ment for the guy talking about it bringing in money. --------- If I were you I'd try to go back to a Monarchy because, in Britain if the Monarch did badly they'd be kicked out and killed. |
