(though I only stopped because I can't be arsed to pirate the dlc again)
Disgusting. Pirating is one thing, pirating from Paradox is another. I have lost all respect for you. Go, begone. Leave VGF and never return. |

I would't do Terraria. It would probably keep you really hooked for about 3 weeks and then you would stop playing as much. That 3 months is definitely a stretch too.
If you do want to grab Terraria, go for it but bundle some games. Recommendations: Dark Souls Series, Batman Arkham Asylum Series, Payday 2 (Currently on sale for 10$), and maybe DayZ or some Transistor/Bastion. (If you don't get Payday 1, you aren't missing out on any story so don't stress.)
What I won't recommend: The Stomping Land (not enough in it), Watch_Dogs (wait for like a month or 2 for UPlay fixes, and honestly paying 60$ for a game anymore is outrageous). |

That was the Humble Origin Bundle, it was Battlefield 3, Crysis 2, Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Mirrors Edge, and Command And Conquer red alert 3, also Burnout Paradise.
I got all of that for only 2$ |

borderlands 2
i'm hooked to this game. honestly, i've spent around 100 hours on it, and i've seen a lot of people with 700 hours or so. if you want the game to last 50+ hours on one character, then i recommend the 'true vault hunter' dlc, the 'tiny tina's assault on dragon keep' dlc, and the 'mister torgue's campaign of carnage' dlc. another option is getting the season pass, that includes this and the dlc characters (gaige the mechromancer and krieg the physco). also, get the ultimate vault hunter dlc and maybe some of the headhunter dlcs if you are loving the game. |

| @above Warning: If you don't like enemies that are sponges, don't get Borderlands 2. Otherwise, great game. |

id recommend fallout new vegas, its very cheap $14.00. i bought it a few days ago and have already clocked around 20hours on it and im not even halfway through the main story. tonnes of characters to interact with, lots of quests, lots of player decisions, great open world environment, lots to explore, the vats system makes it feel even more like an rpg. and best thing about it is you dont need a super computer to run it.
its very addicting. just make sure to quick save every so often because a huge downside is that the game can be really buggy and can screw you over. |
