Okay, so.. Over the past few weeks, I've noticed that Roblox servers have been getting much slower in terms of packet sending/recieving rates. If you have no idea what this means, the less/slower the packets sent, the more lag and choppiness. Now, I've run quiet a few tests and have deduced that it is happening to *many* people. It is, in fact, NOT my ISP or router, and my bandwidth is wonderful. Ping, Upload and Download speeds are phenomenal. Most games I've tested this on, I've been getting NO client lag AT ALL, yet the packets sent like to linger around 1-8/second while idling, and spiking at any random area between 0-30/second while not idle. The same goes for the recieved, but it is about 20-40/second while idling. Idle being described as moving non-animation in any way. While testing, the amount of players in game were around 15 to 30. In contrast, these speeds used to be at least twice that, and never reaching less than 5.
Roblox, please fix this issue as it has completely ruined real time player versus player experiences, and most other things involving real time player to player interaction. |
