Do you think it's time for us to leave Iraq/Afghanistan? I do think it was justified at the time it started (slightly) when Iraq was under the fascistic regime under Saddam Hussein. But they clearly don't want us there anymore.

well, we have pulled out of iraq and are currently bringing troops back from afghanistan. a little sooner would have been nice, though. i originally thought that the war on terror was justified until i wrote a research paper on it in 10th grade. the things i learned during that project totally switched my views.

particularly the (lack of) justification for the iraq war. the fact that there were no wmds, but good ol bush wanted to go to war anyway. the un inspectors found no trace of these supposed weapons, but who cares what the un says, anyway! dont get me wrong, toppling saddam was a good thing for the people of iraq, but it should have ended then and there (or preferably not begun in the first place).

Yeah the public was under false presumptions at that time that, Saddam had chemical weapons.

1. We already left Iraq
2. Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with terrorism. We were there to take out their dictator, Saddam Hussein. |

Easily - it is one of the worst possible ideas - should leave within a year.

Now terrorist groups are just returning and they can use this as propaganda for an already radicalised generation.
