| The only good player on Montreal is Justin Mapp and maybe Felipe Martins. The rest of the team is trash. Half of their backline are academy products who are forced in by the CSA |

toronto fc vs. montreal impact hmmmmmm not mls hmmmm (yes i know it doesn't count as an MLS game, but it's still two MLS teams)
i know bradley and defoe were out, but there was poor examples of play from everyone. passes 10 feet ahead or behind. easy interceptions. awful touches. even the reffing sucked
@rune
the barca-vallilodad and mexico-SA were offside passes. montreal literally managed to put the ball in on a short corner, have the first player take a bad touch which went straight to the corner kicker who was in an offside position
i have no clue what's going on in the barnley-burnsley game because it was filmed with a toaster
i know you're an MLS fan, but you must admit that there is a massive talent drop off between the MLS and european league, and the product quality suffers greatly because of it |

i've never stated that the quality of mls is anywhere near that of top european leagues
it's just not as bad as everyone thinks it is, and it's better than some of them such as the tippeligaen and allsvenskan.
there are leagues way worse than mls, the hate is just glorified because it's an american product, and the fact that brits and mexicans hate americans |

also, not only were defoe and bradley not playing, half of montreal and toronto's teams were backups because they have upcoming weekend games
evan bush who was in goal for montreal is the backup keeper. wandrille lefevre and karl ouimette were bench academy players. ashtone morgan is tfc's backup left back and was playing because justin morrow was being rested, etc. |

It is. If a player like Michael Stephens can start in the Tippeligaen when he couldn't get off the bench for the Galaxy and lead the team in assists, then you know something is up.
and when Billy Schuler comes from Hammarby to come to MLS and hasn't made a single league appearance... |

my friend, who was ex-youth for arsenal and crystal palace, literally laughs at the MLS
it certainly isn't the worst in the world, but there are people who act as if it's the best product out there |

also, another example @deric
zarek valentin couldn't get any playing time for the impact, so he went on a loan to bodo/glimt in norway. he immediately won the starting job and made the deal permanent and was doing well until he tore his acl in the first game of 2014 |
