first off, let's talk about why visits in general don't mean squat.
visits are able to be redundant: the same player can visit a place today and visit it again tomorrow, and that's 2 visits.
not much with a few people. but on most of the top rated games, which seem to be composed mostly of First Person Shooters (a genre that is the current fad of gaming, except it refuses to die) a few thousand dedicated players, coming back to a game day after day for 30 days, will rack up a million visits pretty quickly. add to that fact that visits NEVER get reset, and a million visits starts to look a whole lot less impressive.
The only legitimately respectable statistic that ROBLOX could have is one it won't bother to track: How many players come BACK to a game, day by day. a "Recurring Players" stat. |
