The 30% is marketplace fee. But they should lower it. If you sell game access for 25 (min. cost) ROBUX, you get, what, 2 ROBUX? ROBLOX gets the other 23, and they don't need it. |

@Iron, I don't know what calculator you're using, but you should perhaps buy a new one or put down the abacus you were using to figure it out. You should also, perhaps, go over some rudimentary mathematics.
25 - (25*0.3) = 17.5
Which means that, minus the 30% fee, you make 17R$ on one purchase of 25R$. NBC run on a completely different fee.

Robux is channelled out of the economy, as well as with Tickets, as one way of controlling the value of both currencies. If you removed it, you would likely cause Tickets to lose a lot of their value as there would become an abundance of the currency, whereas Robux would be relatively sparser as huge amounts of Robux would still be channeled out via DevEx.
Whilst ROBLOX could lower it, I don't see why they need to. ROBLOX is arguably a learning game, and taxes are an invaluable lesson. They allow for users to come up with new ways to control their profits, and see what prices get them where - considering ROBLOX is mimicking an arguably controlled market. However, for the most part you would consider ROBLOX to be mimicking a free market.
