Obviously 2. People don't realize, that prayer does absolutely nothing. Why pray for something that an almighty god has already pre-destined to happen? I'm sure most Christians know that god is smarter than them, so why do they think that their prayers can "outsmart' this god's 'logical' thinking? Everytime they pray, and their wish comes true, they assume it's their god's almighty works in the making. But, when a prayer goes unanswered, they just say "it wasn't meant to happen". Why bother on praying when the chance that it is 'answered' is only 50/50? Waste of time to me, time that could be spent actually doing something about your 'problem'.
Also, you can't say something is real without proof that it is real. The sun is real. Trees are real. Animals are real. Why? Because we can see them with our own eyes. And that helps, well, maybe a little, when it comes to believing in something as absurd as an almighty sky fairy. |

| Do you actually wish to discover that for yourself, or do you just post this to cause havoc? Religious discussion isn't allowed, remember. |

| Things don't have to be observable to exist. We have "observed" less than 10% of the known universe at this point, and God is obviously vaster than we can discover over the course of a few million years. Your argument provides its own rebuttal. |

Acryl. You've put all the thoughts I have into words, something I never could do. |

@Ground,
Thanks, for the heads up. You can move along now.
It may be "against the rules", but as long as these conversations remain level-headed, then I see no reason to not talk about something. I like learning about other people's point of view when it comes to these things.
