The wiki is very unhelpful, unless you already know the language of Lua and just need to learn Roblox's version.
I recommend youtube videos. Stickmasterluke has some good ones, and so does CodeTheorem. |

| Everybody who says the wiki is unhelpful at any stage in learning Lua is very wrong. If you think it's unhelpful, you aren't using the wiki the way it was supposed to be used. ARGH! |

| I know some people can learn off of the wiki, but I couldn't because it doesn't explain things very well, while a lot of the youtube videos explain things very clearly. One example is raycasting. The wiki does not explain it well, but as soon as I went on youtube I was able to learn it. However, once instance where the wiki was superior was when I wanted to learn string manipulation. It was easy to see how it worked, once I got the correct function to use. It didn't required a lot of explanation. |
