I noticed a few days ago that whenever I copy / paste a model or brick, not only does it's parent get set to the currently selected model, but it also pastes directly above the copied one.
The first could be helpful from time to time, I guess, but the second problem is really just painful if you're trying to make anything bigger than a butterfly. Is there a setting I can change in Studio to solve these problems or must I always have to drag pasted models and parts across the entire map when building something like a forest? |

1.Select Brick To copy 2.Click another brick in the same location you to replicate to (Dont highlight it) 3. Paste 4. It should be in the same location as the brick
Not selecting a brick would paste above the selected bricks |

That's what I'm saying. That's how ROBLOX Studio has always functioned, but in the last few days it HASN'T been doing exactly that. Since my previous explanation seems to confuse you, let me restate it. This is what happens now when I try to paste a brick or model:
With a brick, 1. I copy a current brick 2. I click on a brick close to where I need to paste the new one 3. The camera zooms back to the brick I copied as the pasted brick is placed above the copied one.
with a model, 1. I copy a current model 2. I click on a model near where I want to paste the new model 3. The new model automatically gets grouped into the model I selected (same happens to bricks) while it is placed above the model I had copied. |

When you insert anything it will land on the last moved object. Try moving the object up that you said you clicked on, Then put it back down and paste your copied part/model. |
