Yet they swept the Red Sox :( Granted, Boston is struggling, but they're still better than Cleveland.

Tigers are garbage. And I couldn't give a damn about their record or how they swept Baltimore and Boston back-to-back. Blowing the lead twice and eventually getting swept by a struggling Indians team is completely inexcusable. (Yeah, can you tell I'm mad?)
The other thing is that the pitching this series was horrid. They make holding the Red Sox to just three runs in a three-game series look rather easy. But they can't do just as good against Cleveland? You got to be kidding me . . . Absolute BS.

| I've got a good reason to complain when a supposedly "good, outstanding" team fails twice to hold the lead against a team that's below .500. |

| I'm also somewhat nerve-racked by the fact that they're facing the Texas Rangers next . . . This isn't going to be pretty, if you ask me. |

The Tigers in 2003 (When the lost 100) Swept 2 Teams
Kansas City Royals in 2005 when the played the yankees (all three games which i attended) THEY SWEPT THE YANKEES AND 2 OTHER TEAMS THAT YEAR
Tampa Bay in 2003 (99 Loses) Swept 2 Teams
Tampa Bay in 2006 (101 L's) Swept 3 Teams
Seattle in 2004 (99 L's) Swept 2 Teams
Nationals in 2008 (102 L's) Swept 4 Teams
Seattle in 2008 (101 L's) Swept 1 team that year
TL;DR stop acting like a prima dona just cause the Tigers got swept, it happens; AND DONT FORGET WE SUCKED LIKE 5 YEARS AGO WHEN CURTIS GRANDSON WAS STILL ON THE TEAM |

| It just still points out that the Tiger's bullpen is not made for the playoffs. |

Well if donny is right, Detroit could EASILY trade for a bullpen arm. Also, I think Victor Martinez is one of the most underrated if not THE most underrated player in the game.

Well, Poke, it's a bit nerve-racking when your team is supposedly good and you see them choke badly like that. It was a painful way to get swept. Okay, okay, I get it. It's just one stinking series. And I get that even good teams will gets swept sometimes; everyone does. But when it comes in such a way and against a team not as good . . . it'll just get to you. And, yes, it is quite along season, isn't it? Long enough for the Tigers to even possibly go on a bad streak (remember the Indians from a couple years ago?). The thing about the Tigers no being to pull out a win in that series is that now they've gotta deal with the Rangers.
I admit that I probably over-reacted. I'm sorry. But, you know, I don't think you need to be so harsh-sounding. I don't think you need to tell me to "shut the hell up." |
