In the old days, we used to just flood into someone's base, and that was the deceleration of war. We didn't get kicked for "empty server raiding", and we didn't have to have multiple agreements regarding "terms".
It may just be me, but I'm pretty sure when you declare war on someone, you use whatever you have to beat them. You don't drop down your army's skill and capability just to match the other's to make it "fair".
That's BS.
In fact, Fort's shouldn't have to be fair, and empty server raiding should be allowed.
A fort is meant to be a stronghold. Something that is difficult to get into. If you win a raid with fair forts, there's really no accomplishment. If you beat someone in their fort, when it's tilted to their side, then it's much more of an accomplishment, is it not? You're beating them when the odds are stacked against you.
Why don't you guys put just a little bit more logic into things around here. |

In my opinion, if you're not capable of defending another server from raiders, then it should be a loss for you. If they CAN get people in there, and you don't have the activity to defend it, then they win. That's logical.
Should people be able to just quickly flood into 5 servers and fill them with little to no warning? No. But if you are given a warning, and you're not prepared to defend multiple servers, then it should count against you. |

shi, when i was typing this, I was envisioning a raid UCR had on X-101st way back. Back at franneh, the old X-101st. With the actual LN account.
The way I described everything in this thread is the way we did things during that war. The war started by UCR flooding into X-101st servers. |

| Altair, there's nothing significant about that then. It's much more significant to beat someone when the odds are against you, which is how it should be. The defenders should always have an easier time defending the base, then the raiders have raiding it. And that's for all clans. |

Lets glimpse over at Iraq real quick. Do you thing insurgents would just wait at the gate for everyone to wake up and get ready? No. They're going to start hitting that place. If no one is there, and they take it over, then the won. Until we fight them to take it back, anyway. |

@Altair- Because that's the way it used to be, and that's the way it should still be. I'm tired of all of this bickering and "denying" wars.
Wtf is that. Denying a war?
If you want to go to war with someone, raid them. If they "deny" it, then it's a victory for you. |

Plus what happens when you empty server raid like T midnight where everyone is sleeping and it's dumb for a person to win like that. I totally disagree and go shed, FLAME ME because I disagree because mostly I am going to be more like my character and less like your character. |

| Overall, in complete seriousness, I agree. There should only be one universal terms of war, which is the fort's original rules and punishments. If you don't like it, don't war with them, don't think about them, and do whatever you wish to ignore them. |

Noel, you missed the part regarding a fair warning.
It's impossible to communicate a fair warning in the middle of the night. Obviously you'd have to use some basic logic in this method. |

| Forget fort rules. There should be universally agreed upon fort rules and war terms. Not negotiable, and everyone follows them for every war. |

If someone refuses to defend then you can claim it as a raid win but that's depending on the time.
I do know that forts shouldn't have to be fair but mostly I want to make mine fun. |
