Why do most people say "Bless you" when you sneeze? I never really knew why..

Way back then in like idk sometime around jesus or something. They believed that when you sneezed, your soul came out. So they blessed each other when they sneezed. So their souls will stay with them. |

| People said "Bless you" when they sneeze because in ancient times (Like a few hundred years ago I think) people thought your spirit left your body when you sneezed, and people said "Bless you" so your spirit would be protected by evil spirits. I'm wondering when your spirit goes back into your body, though. |
