Who
are you
I've never seen you here before. And why are you asking RP? I mean, RP is better than some forums for this, but even so. I doubt many people here are qualified psychologists yet...

You're more likely to die in a car trip than a plane trip.
So, I hope that helps. |

Fun facts with Vam
Only 1in 8 million planes crash.
On average 95% of people survive a crash
Planes are safety wizards, eight exits that can turn into rafts, parachutes in chairs, oxygen/gas masks and a plane can take 80 bullets before flying.
Planes are now not affected by wifi.
Planes take so many Gs, that the passengers will only feel the effects of flying ht first 30 seconds and the last 10 of flight.

| I got over my fear of planes by taking Quaaludes before my flight. |

If you get panic in a car, you will most likely crash

| I'd ask your doctor if there's anything he can give you to help you keep calm during the flight. |

Also, if you think airplanes are bad, you should try diving.
Hundreds of feet under the water that can crush your body if you panic and surface too fast. To top that, there are sharks, moray eel, stingray, snakes, and grouper that will be more than happy to kill you if you get too close to them.
Ah fun |

| Planes aren't that bad. Occasionally there's terrible turbulence that makes you think the plane is about to fall down and blow up, but there hasn't been an accidental accident in a while. |

to be honest, it's a pretty decent fear to have in comparison to some - not too bad, and reasonably easy to get over
Haphephobia, now, is horrible
