It's all my fault.
This will be a long story and I do apologize for that, but nothing great comes small.
I would like to begin with a little introduction and story to explain the series of past events in the last few months when I became an active role in the colonial world.
My name is TravisGamer, or Travis Gamer. Not Henry H. Clay, William S. Jonson, John Williams, Alexander the Great, George Smith III. Just TravisGamer. Simple and me, not afraid to hide my real name and my hobby.
Now, beginning with my story I would to explain to you how I became someone everyone knew me as a hero then a traitor, starting with me visiting Boston for the first time under British rule (Triculate). I was awed by the series of events there. Nobles chatted about politics. British commanders lead lines and trainings. Governors held there heads high and mobbed by many citizens saying how great he was. Normally I would laugh at how pathetic they all were, but I didn't for some reason. I did, however, notice that made me question authority. Angry civilians lining up in front of the fort and yelling insults. I've seen “patriots” with game bought swords and muskets (each alone cost 1000 robux) charging the British fort. This interested me more and more so I often came to Boston to visit and see the news.
The 3rd day. The day when I changed my mind and decided to change everything. I came to Boston and saw that only one British guard was at the fort. Well, guard isn't the proper term. Let's try Major General. Kelzar(something) was his name. Now, normally I'm sure he would just be hanging out at the fort or talking to nobles, however there weren’t any nobles and most of the civilians were wearing blue versions of the British uniform and they were all charging the fort. A lot of them were assassins as well, 8 year old assassins thinking they're Conner Kenway. Needless to say, it was painful to sit there and see him badly fight out 8 year olds and die 2 seconds after his force-field runs out. I jumped on a patriot who tried to stack on the fort and got in instead of him. I told Kelzar I'm here to help and without question he just gave me his musket and ran. Yeah, he ran but then got shot and respawned and decided to help fight, but he just tried to kill any enemies in the fort. Less than 3 minutes we secured the fort and drove the patriots back (some rage quit) and British reinforcements arrive. I ask to join the British Army of North America and that's when they place me as a Private instead of standard Fencible. I felt proud. Many of the current officers that came after saw my leadership of commanding the lower ranks and they told me, “Travis, you'll make a great officer one day.” The officer who said that (won't say his name to not embarrass him) was exiled the day after.
Skipping a week under the service of the crown, I've meet the new Brigadier General, SirCoolKiller, who instantly loved my work and potential in the army. I made good friends with him but I noticed something that made me uneasy. He was a weak commander. He listened more to his men and officers than to his own gut. For a time I questioned who was in charge between him and I. I realized on the first day we met that this group was corrupt and it did need change. So I decided to not be so selfish and deal with their BS so I may rise up in the ranks and make change. I thought it would be easy, never have I been so wrong in my life.
SirCoolKiller announced that I was nominated the position of Sergeant Major. I was offline at the time and upon reading the offer, I was about to thank him greatly until I got another message from him saying, “Congrats Sergeant Major. Make me proud.” Just like that. I didn't have the offer to decline nor accept. I was just given the rank. This is where the stressful part comes in.
I was less than 5 days as a Sergeant Major and already change among the soldiers were happening. I organized patrols, set up sentries, and made civilians fear us more. I did host a couple of trainings where I made soldiers follow orders faster than they did with officers and made formations stronger. SirCoolKiller bragged about me with the other officers and decided to finally introduce me with the devil himself, Speakables.
Speakables was worse than SirCoolKiller. Even today I question how he became a Major General in the Crown's Army. He was weak, lazy, did nothing but check ups on the men and ran off to play with his “friends”. I decided to speak to him about the discipline of the Army and he said, “I'll give you a weak to train the men to be more discipline. If you do that I'll give you Ensign.” The next day I set to work on building the tolerance of the Army and making it greater than it was before. Soldiers started to change behavior, following orders, me gaining respect. It was all too good until I realized that my most trustful Sergeants became Ensign the next day out of the blue. Enraged, I went to SirCoolKiller to complain about this sudden change and he simply told me, “Travis, you do realize only Colonels control you, right? And don't worry, once you have been in that rank for a while, you'll get Colonel.” With this information I started to use it as a excuse to command the lower and mid-ranked officers and hopefully to make them better as well. Already people in the Army knew who I was. For a time they considered me as a high ranked officer. I never got the rank to Ensign that Speakables promised me but that didn't distract my will to train the men. Everything was going as planned until a big game changer hit.
Reprisalx was the head of the Crown Army. The big leader of EGB. Everything that he said, goes. The King himself trusted Reprisal's judgment more than his own. As he controlled the Army of British North America he replaced Kelzar with one of his female “friends” (OD'ers). I don't remember her user name so let's just use her role playing name, Molly. Molly had a interesting mind set. She though that anyone that seemed nice and kisses her feet and complimenting her uniform deserves officer. I'm not someone to kiss up to a higher rank which is why I often get promoted slower than my comrades. Molly and I met and from that moment I was angry how with all my hard work Reprisal comes out of nowhere with this dumb idiot and places her as Commander of the Army of British North America. SirCoolKilelr, Kelzar, and I were angry and we decided to take this up to high command. Reprisal only said that it wasn't his duty to command the Army, but have his Major General command it. Any complaints we have goes to her. He was stupid enough to not understand that the main problem and complaints we have was her. The next day Molly got exiled because Reprisal saw her and TitanXL in a game alone together (3 way relationship).
After the news of the Army's high command opening spread throughout EGB, it attracted all the other officers to come try out. Reprisal simply placed his past “friend” (he OD'es a lot of people) as the new Major General. I liked Brooke more than Molly because she did one thing and one thing only, staying out of the way. She was our Major General for almost a week until Reprisal realized she didn't do much and the Army was downgrading (this was during my inactivity period). That's when he insulted a new Major General. The one who finally made me quit.
IronBrigade. This man knew with discipline was. He knew how the Army ran. He knew how to treat undisciplined soldiers. As I met him for the first time he seemed a bit more strange than the average high rank. He told me to wear the standard shako and take off my mask. I was already wearing the standard shako but the mask, I told him that it was my key hat. He threatened to remove me from the Army and I just fell silent in rage. I obeyed his command and followed his orders further on. I was angry of course on how Reprisal brings this man out of nowhere and decides to change our culture in the Army. Iron didn't care about culture or tradition, but about honor and discipline in our military.
The first day with our new Major General was an adventure. Although Iron restricted my influence of a Sergeant Major in the Army, I still showed him why I was chosen that rank. He ordered me to have every soldier go in a certain formation and to keep quiet. I started playing Drill Sergeant and made them all fall in and silent. I could already smell their fear. From the corner of my eye (or screen) I could hear IronBrigade saying, “Good Sergeant, good”. For the first time, somebody complimented me on my work.
The days passed and we already have two new Brigadier Generals, InvalidTactics and Bakers. Through Bakers we established a new colony, New York. Already the Army is drastically changing and Reprisal boasted his head throughout the British Empire about his success of opening New York. My true home was Boston but with Triculate going inactive, I decided to simply stay and host trainings at Fort William-Henry. Already I was making Iron proud with my trainings and many of the officers decided to just kick back and relax while I do the work. I remember Iron saying that he wants to make me an officer, but he's more in need of a Sergeant Major. This was a punch to the face. He knows that I am worthy for a higher rank but because I am excellent at playing the role of keeping the men in line and making his life and all the other officer's jobs MUCH easier. I once more felt like a slave. For a month and a half I was nothing but a Sergeant Major.
What displeased me more was that Iron has placed idiotic colonels in power and they try to overcome my influence but would tend to fail. Many of the new officers in power didn't know the basic commands and had me help them. I decided enough was enough. As I was about to beg Iron to give me a chance as Colonel so I may have my own reforms that will help the Army, he resigned from Major General and went with Bakers to New York.
While he was online I went to New York and saw IronBrigade in the ATC building. I went inside uninvited (the soldiers guarding were sloppy and confused), I saw him speaking with a few of the ATC captains. After he was finished and turned to face me. I simply asked him why. He explained to me that he got a bunch of back lash from parliament and a lot of the other officers treated him badly because they wanted the position of Major General in the Army. He offered me the rank of Colonel in The Continental Army, and being a bit uneasy about leaving my men, I politely declined and went back to Fort William-Henry.
The next day I knew there was going to be a war between EGB and TCA, and no doubt the Army of British North America will be involved. I set to work on mass trainings on that day and having 20+ people attend the server. I set to work on formations and combat commands and adding in new fun scenarios such as Capture the Fort. InvalidTactics would have been the new Major General. As he arrived I decided to explain to him about the struggles I've been facing and how I am deserving of a higher position in order to help the Army. He said that he needs me as a Sergeant Major and I need to work more training these men so he may promote as many officers as he can get. Truth be told he was already promoting officers that aren't deserving of the rank. I felt uncomfortable how I was training everyone to be a higher rank than me, so I decided to step my foot down. By that time Invalid ordered everyone into a Drill Charge formation and the King arrived, shocked on how disciplined the Army was and gave credit to Invalid, and Invalid only. I was thrown into the dust. In a skype call I told him, “If I do not get a decent rank that will fit my experience and capability in the Army (no lower than Colonel) then at least give me the curtsey of having a peaceful resignation to the men”. I'm not sure what he thought I meant but he took it as me wanting to leave and allowed that to happen. I know for sure he did not want me in the Army. Now, I don't hate InvalidTactics as a person, he's a good kid, but needs work on leadership.
Speakables, the idiot, arrived during the King's visit and saw my resignation. I gave an unprepared speech to everyone and they all were upset on me leaving. I had to lie to everyone that I'm leaving because of reformations, it wasn't that at all. It was because of the constant share of power and the abuse I get from my higher ranks. Speakables pulled me aside and told me that he wants me in EGB. I was a bit surprised and happy until he offered me the position. A private in EGB...
I would like everyone to know that I have trained officers in the Army and were instantly transferred as an Ensign into EGB. SirDavidLance, you know what I'm talking about.
I accepted in order to not seem a traitor in front of my men and he teleported me to the EGB base. After I arrived I instantly left the base, took off the private uniform, and wore the standard TCA uniform and went to New York. General Mateyz accepted me into the group and after Bakers recognized me, placed me as a Colonel. Iron was delighted that I decided to join the Continental Army and from that day I started to be more active and more happy, for once.
Here I am, a Brigadier General. I should be happy, satisfied on where I am and where I should be compared to others, but I'm not. I have guilt running inside me. Every time I see soldiers who were in the Army as my comrades either have gone corrupted or out of the colonial era.
The reason the Army of British North America has gone in despair, having corrupt high ranks, and lost Boston, was because of me. Maybe if I stayed a little longer I would have gotten a higher rank in the Army, but I would have missed out on the adventures and responsibility towards TCA.
I am a man who knows what power is and how capable I am with it.
-I was promoted to Brigadier General after my hard work with TCA. I accept this gradually. -I was promoted to Major General, not from an election but from showing my skills once more to my high ranks, especially Iron, on how deserving I am for that position. -I was demoted to Brigadier General for not having an election and not voted for officer. This will not change my effort and hard work I put into TCA. -I was promoted to Staff of regiments and given control of Dragoons, Artillery, and North Carolina Regiment of melee. I accept these regiments and my will to make them the best.
My demotion to Brigadier General from Major General was my fault. In the one day I am given, I have not put in much effort and work to show my higher commanders that I am capable. The reason for the replacement of a Brigadier General is also my fault for I have not shown my commanders that I cannot hold the responsibility unto myself. It is my fault that the Army of British North America downgrades for I have turned my back to it when I was needed the most, all out of self gain for a higher position in the military. It is important I realize that being a high rank is not a luxury, but a responsibility.
And with my will, I will not have The Continental Army share the same fate.
I sit here in our new Boston, under freedom and liberty's influence, reliving the joyful memories... and the painful sufferings.

| Nice story, very inspirational even though you got one thing wrong. I was in TAoBA before IronBrigade, I introduced him to the King which got him his rank. |

| Travis, ye are right. We need ye now. Men are such idiots. I am sure TCA can do it good to it self. It has more than us. Travis, rejoin. Ye may be an officer. |

Wow these grammar and spelling mistakes really hurt.
I'll make sure to proof read them after I wrote a freaking 4 page essay in less than an hour. |
