Depends on how everything is placed inside of the desktop. Also, the power supply is probably why there is heat. Yes, heat can damage the desktop as well. |

it'd be easier to advise you if you gave accurate temps and not guesses
js
anyways was your pc dusty when you opened it
are your fans spinning? (sometimes you can accidentally unplug them)
and most of all, have you tried turning it off and on again? |

@buck
speedfan is not a virus and is most likely a tool professionals would use to help determine how serious the problem is
@shadow
like i said, are you sure all fans are running and it's not too dusty inside your case?
also, is there sufficient airflow in the case? the gpu might be large for your case, preventing adequate airflow |

Does it have mesh dust filters? If so, they might be dusty.
If not, are any wires blocking airflow?
If not, I'm honestly stumped and you should probably go to a professional forum like Tomshardware, Anandtech or even the Computer section of the Minecraft forums. (Believe it or not, but a good amount of professionals actively use it) |

| Temperatures below 80 celsius are usually ok in the componenets but if the ambient inside the case is that then your airflow is messed up pretty bad. Check your intakes and exhaust fans. |

>GTX 460
Why?
Better cards = less heat on lower settings
Also, better cards than that have better fans, heat dissipation and software for temps.
NO hooves is NO good. |

| You can either get it fixed or just keep it like that and constantly take breaks to cool it down. |
