"Run to the store and pick up a loaf of bread. If they have eggs, get a dozen."
The programmer comes home with 12 loaves of bread. |

By that logic, he should be coming back with 13 loaves of bread, not 12.
Or perhaps not even return at all, since he was never told to. |

| Or he came back with a loaf of bread and 12 eggs. Programmers aren't programs y'know (at least not yet anyway). |

"But he wasn't told not to return."
Yeah, but the joke is treating him like an extremely basic soulless program incapable of independent thought or even basic reasoning. If he doesn't understand that he should be picking up eggs when they have eggs, then how is he to understand to go back home?
In fact, the most reasonable thing for him to do (if he is to be treated like this), is for him to RUN to the store, pick up a random bread, grab 12 eggs if they have 'em, and then just stand there. |

Let me assure you, dear sir... Programming is not the reason you can't get ladies. |

| The programmer would throw a NullPointerException, since she doesn't really specify what he should get a dozen of. |

| He'd probably just throw the egg, it's close to a NullPointerException, right? |

"get a dozen"
I'm pretty sure the programmer would crash at that point since it is never specified what he should get a dozen of. |

Oh yeah, those. I don't talk about them anymore, sadly. Mostly because I constantly got banned and finally perma banned. I sort of learned my lesson after that. Apparently roblox mods don't like that stuff. xD |
