Congress Protection Act Proposal
Proposed by Senator Tallon
Introduction; As many of you senators may know, there are alot of criminals within our cities and as we strive to stop this we must also be aware, there are alot of people who have personal vendettas upon our Congressmen and this act will hopefully protect our Congressmen.
Section 1; This act will hopefully create a bigger job for the Capitol Police, this will hopefully give them something more important and required, this will make a new job within Capitol Police call "Congressional Protection Unit" there duty will be to protect any Congress in the server, following their orders and sticking with them. Under their watch the Congressional member shouldn't be harmed or in anyway abused.
Section 2; The basic outline of this will be, that Capitol Police must be present with the Congress IF they are ingame, if they are not they are to retain their usual Law enforcement duties, however, they must not do anything illegal or irresponsible, they protect and follow instructions, this does not mean put their jobs at risk. If a Congressional member asks them to do something out of reason, that Protection Unit member must report it to their Chief or Deputy Chief and they will not be required to protect that particular Congress member. However, if a Capitol Police ignores orders from his Congressional Member and goes about his business doing his own thing, he can be reported himself. If the Protection Unit member puts his Congress member at risk, this can also lead to a report to his Chief/Deputy Chief.
Section 3; This will only apply for United States Capitol Police, no other agency is to do this duty or tell the USCP Protection Unit they will take over, unless the Chief says another protection unit within USCP must take over, there will only be one person. This will be overseen by the USCP and monitored closely by the person the Chief of Capitol Police chooses to leave incharge of the operations within this unit.
Section 4; This bill will be effect immediately after passing.
Section 5; All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void. Introduced for Congressional Debate by Senator Tallon.

USCP is already suppose to protect Congressmen. There shouldn't be a unit. They should just be reminded of their duties.
