In a race, a car travels 60 times around a 3.6 km track. This takes 2.4 hours. What is the average speed of the car?

trust me i got 90 as well at first but then i looked up the mark scheme it said 1.5
|

if you divided 216 by 90 it would give 2.4 as in 2.4 HOURS

lets see
2.4 hours is 2 hours and 24 minutes' 60 times 3.6km is 216km formula for average speed is distance/time 216/3.6= 60
average speed is 60 km/h

aight i just checked the markscheme and that markscheme was deemed wrong for that year
and i found the correct one with no mistakes and guess what the answers 90 |

yea but you just said speed = distance/time
and you divided it by the length of the race track |
