i need ideas for an animal that adapted to survive something
like not something that actually happened but something made up
example
a snake grew feet to hop into trees to escape men with guns
I will then strategically place LEGO Bricks in the hall way! |

| a cat that had larger, more sensitive ears due to a genetic mutation. this allowed that cat to detect predators more effectively than the others, thus it was able to survive and pass on its genes. |

a giraffe that had a longer neck due to a genetic mutation
this enables it to compete against other males better in necking contests for the female and also to be able to grasp high positioned leaves on trees. |
