| People say video games can make bad health conditions such as obesity, addiction, depression, anti-socialism, back pain, muscle stiffness, and aggressiveness, but what all these doctor and mothers don't understand is that this isn't common, if you have a normal brain, shooting someone because of Call of Duty is extremely unlikely. People don't sit playing videogames alone, most of the time we play online with people and use teamwork, so anti-socialism isn't really relevant. Obesity isn't caused by video games, you just aren't losing weight by doing it. (unless you're playing wii fit, or raging)Back pain simply required you to sit up straight, and I've never had problems with cramps or muscle stiffness. Often people say that videogames can cause eye problems, maybe if you have sensitive eyes, but a test has shown that kids who play games for 2 hours a day have 20% better eyesight than those who dont. Everyone is different, I don't experience any negative effects from video games, and being addicted isn't the same as playing games for hours. I play for 7 hours a day sometimes, yet I can stop whenever and games don't get in way of eating or sleeping, so it isn't addiction, some people might get addicted, but for most people, videogames aren't very addicting. I am a real gamer that spends PLENTY of time playing games, I am not anti-social, violent, stupid, or obese. I hate when people give things to do besides videogames. Videogames are near #1 for funnest things to do, remember the first time you played a game or a family member has? People who play games for the first time has TONS of fun, we just get used to this extreme fun. Taking away games or limiting them would cause depression and anti-socialism and aggression, not playing them. Anyone else think this "Video games are bad for you're kids" things are dumb? |

TL;DR.
I read the title and got what you mean to say.
Actually they aren't. Video games challenge your brain and therefore you are learning.
Unless your playing FPS like ftl. |

No you didn't. He is arguing against the implication that video games cause violence. Not for it. Read a paragraph or two before you attempt to comment... Fool.

That's why to avoid being bulky, go to a gym and pump iron.
Or do that and play a handheld. |

| I agree with you. I've actually heard that video games are healthy for you. I've heard they improve hand eye coordination, and reaction speeds/reflexes (We have quick time events to thank for that). |

| If they were bad for your health, Society would be dead where it stands. |
