| I'm not, but my parents made it fine, and neither of them finished college. My mom even has a good, highpaying job at a large resort. |

| Your should really re-think this. The world has been constantly moving from arbitrary jobs that the average joe can do to algorithmic - deep thinking jobs. |

"Do somthing with your brain and not with your farming skiils"
I'd rather not.
I have a hot temper, don't deal well with annoying people, and I like animals. |

"Then you're better off going to a trade school."
Says the kid who probably hasn't even started high school, let alone understand how Universities work.
If you sincerely believe trade school is the better opt compared to the two I listed, you are an severe need of help. |

"No. I am saying if you can not take college financially you should go to a trade school instead as it is to big of a risk otherwise"
I can understand that, and even strongly considered going to a trade school for a while for that very reason, though that's not necessarily the case.
What mainly kept me from going to Vandy or Ole Miss were my grades, to be honest. Money was obviously another factor, just not the only one.
I've already got my tuition paid for (Louisiana has TOPS, covers tuition for any in-state 4 year university if you qualify) plus another academic scholarship from the University I'll be attending, it's much more affordable, I think all I'm left paying for out of pocket is housing, books, and meal plans.
My reasoning for choosing Uni instead of Trade school is that I didn't want to be left with a mundane job. As long as I major in something practical, I don't fear being unemployed for terribly long.
I see what you're saying, and I strongly agree that it would apply to some people, as college isn't for everyone, but getting a degree from Uni won't leave you broke if you're smart as well as careful about it. |
