| I have a game I am currently working on and I have the whole game planned out but I can't get any of my scripts to work right so I need someone who could script for the game while I build the game. |

| I'm trying... I've already tried learning, but I'm horrible at scripting, so I gave up... |

| I felt the same, I never gave up and I only been learning Lua for a few months and I am really comfortable at it now. |

| News flash: you don't learn lua in 5 weeks. It takes a while, you start off making small, simple scripts and you work your way up. |

| 5 weeks is enough time to learn Lua and Assembly and C and Java. |

I don't think you've really been trying. If you want a jump start, watch stickmasterluke's 5 basic tutorials, that's where I started.
Then what I did was, I looked a small script (like a lava brick script) then tried to memorize it and retype it
youd be amazed how much more sense things make |

Memorization is bad. Learn the syntax and understand why it works. Don't memorize specifics, memorize general things.
Once you understand how and why it works, then you know everything you need to. |
