Is that there is a middle-ground. Even the non-playoff teams compete. There is also realistic hope for the majority of the teams, the Wild are showing us that and the Kings showed us that a few years ago. The MLB is the same, no intentionally throwing games.

| No one in the MLB tanks though because the draft is SO unpredictable that the best player in the draft class usually ends up being drafted in the 20s |
