Stop! Wait! Before you start posting, hear me out! I going to approach this idea differently.
Roblox on console is a demanded idea, right? It's a good idea also, if Roblox has a cult audience on PC and mobile, I bet it will get the chance grow into phenomenon if they have console audiences playing.
I think it shouldn't play exactly like the PC or mobile version of Roblox. It should be built from the ground up!
First of all, NO Lua!
Games from the PC or mobile version will be remade by users to better suit console specs.
A RBLX file's parts from the PC/mobile version can be loaded into the game, with any Lua scripts attached to be removed though (since consoles can't use Lua).
The console version will use a Lua-like language called RBX script.
Second of all, the basic humanoid controls are fully changed to suit console controls.
Left Stick to move. Right Stick to move camera. D-Pad to control camera zoom.
A or X to jump. Lt/Rt or L/R to switch gear. Rb/(X) or R2/Square to use gear. Y or Triangle to drop hats. B or Circle to drop gear. Back or Select to chat. "Start" to see game menu.
The console version also should include four player split-screen multiplayer, so you can play Roblox together with a friend at home.
Also since you can play four players...you can play a downloaded place offline. No servers! No hassle!
So what do you think? |

What about place specific controls?
G for Apocalypse Rising inventory for example. |

I like this idea. At least there was thought put into this console idea. What systems would it be on? I know some won't have enough controls.

| Actually, yes! Surprisingly, it's not what it looks like, actually, instead of making money with builder club, they could make money with the ones who buy the console version! And maybe by this way, they'll probably decrease the prices of the builder clubs, or maybe not... But who knows? |

| NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. What about place specific buttons, like just about every game? How would you press e to open your inventory and stuff? How would you CLICK ON THINGS? |

| Like I said: Places must be remade to suit the console version. |

So place makers will have to remake their places to suit consoles? Do you know how long that would take?

Do you know how long it would take to re script a place?
1. Learn how to make it work with PC AND console.
2. Type up scripts
3. Test
4. Fix bugs
5. Test
6. Fix bugs
7. Test
8. Fix bugs
It probably wouldn't match up and one or both platforms would not work as developers struggle to get it to work.

It would be a waste of time.
If developers don't make their games work on iPad, then they probably won't re script it for people who want to play roblox with a controller instead of a keyboard.

| True, but most of the popular developers do, so it may not be a bad idea. |

When you develop for console Roblox, you can develop one console Roblox script and it will be available and will work on all consoles like the Xbox 360 , PS3 , Xbox One , PS4 and Wii U.
The script is cross-console compatible. |

Hey, this script is going to be made by Roblox to ensure it works on all those consoles.
And, no...I'm not leaving. |

This would be a huge waste of time, some of the controls might not work correctly.
No support. |
