If you have a short attention span, it is likely that you will not reach the end of this thread alive.
This was written as a response to the drama about the constant closing of the Egg Hunt. After imagining why people were treating the event as if it was such a disaster, a scenario where it truly was became envisioned in this short story. Thinking about it now, this actually turned out much longer than expected, and it was really fun to create. Enjoy!

And yes, I am aware at how late this story was written in regards to the date of the actual event.

Proofreading and suggestions by Reverse Prosthetic Camaraderie, Senroe, and EASTFRIEND of the Noospherical Project.
Thank you to everyone who supports my work, especially EverythingIsMacabre who kept me going.

This story is broken up into parts to compensate for the maximum amount of characters that are allowed in each reply. Please don’t mind the posts in between as I race the floodcheck to get all of this up.

Thanks again for your interest.

It was fun once. Nobody could quite determine when “once” last happened. But if it ever would again, then perhaps everyone could get along. Until then, however, the week of Easter was an annual chore.

Several years ago, the Eggverse was compromised. After many attempts of trying to take over the entire supply of eggs, Rabid Rabbit had finally succeeded. With Lucky Lapin considered a permanent hostage and his collection held in an inaccessible dimension of the Eggverse, there was nothing that even the admins could do to negotiate the release of ROBLOXia’s prized wearables. So the developers, and the community, were forced to adapt.

Rabid was not purely evil; he had ways to release the eggs in quantities that only he would decide, and in return, demand for worlds and lands to be designed in his interest. But the restriction killed the economy. With fewer eggs being released each year, the amount of Limiteds severely dropped, and their prices steepened. The boost in money circulation in this period of the calendar simply slipped away, and across the world, ROBLOXian families were restrained into poverty.

Perhaps only recently, an unusual and possibly disturbing trend emerged. The cost of food was becoming so unaffordable that some took the extreme measures to provide for themselves. Soon after the hunts were completed, a new holiday of sorts took place to revel in the rewards from a successful hunt – the eggs were eaten.

A ROBLOXian in another time period may see this as objectionable, but one could hardly understand unless they were confined into the lifestyle of the current, hollowed-out age. The eggs were roughly twice the size of a head, and weren’t made out of the typical material that was used to make fedoras and top hats. Beneath the shell, edible substances were encased, and the sacrifice of losing a valuable Limited could be justified to the hungry by the reward of several nourishing meals, all for free.

One could suppose that with this discovery that the competitiveness would only be larger, and that is naturally the answer. With each new egg hunt, the chaos worsened, and open violence was necessary to find just a few items, and carry them out of the portal. It was a type of grim ritual that no sane individual would enjoy, but it was a definite solution to a bleak circumstance.

Lewis was a construction worker, an average citizen, and above all, a father. He arrived at the station with little else than his watch and a backpack. ROBLOXians of every appearance streamed through the wide set of doors with him, congregating in the terminal that reminded Lewis of an airport or sports arena.
The crowds moved towards the inner chamber, where the steel walls rose to form the high-ceilinged room where the portal resided. Electronic billboards were fastened at various angles to the registration and information kiosks that dotted the long walk to the teleporter.
As he walked, Lewis saw the images of this year’s eggs on display. They didn’t look entirely welcoming, with hues of dark red and black commonly patterned across the uneven surfaces. There were hardly any hints that Lewis could pick up would be the objectives for obtaining them, however the days where the levels pertained to a theme, and often the eggs along with them, were fleeting. It seemed that Rabid was being even more uncreative this year.

Lewis skipped some of the registry hurdles since he sent in his entry through the mail a while before. He showed his profile information to one of the secretaries at a booth and his name was checked off. Advancing through a queue line roped around like a maze, he eventually was slowed by a waiting group of ROBLOXians outside of the doors to the portal.
Through a set of windows, Lewis could see the inside of the chamber. A line of users were arrayed in front of a giant camera-like machine that faced the crowd that had their backs turned to the outside. Males, females, old and even the young shifted uneasily while a light began to shine through the barrel of the contraption. As the glare grew in intensity, some raised their arms to block the vicious rays from their sight. The brightness swallowed up the participants until they disappeared, and as the light suddenly shut off, there were no longer any ROBLOXians in the room.

The doors swung open to admit the next set of teleportees. Filing in, Lewis sighed and steeled himself for the impending fight for his life. Nobody seemed very hostile yet, but the sudden change of environment that he and the rest of the hunters would soon experience had drastic alterations to personalities. It was perhaps the desperation of the moment; the realization that everything was for keeps affected everybody.

About 30 other users had walked in before the exits closed. Lewis glanced around at the ROBLOXians whom he would be competing against. A circle of men in military uniforms and sunglasses stood close together a distance away. One had noticed Lewis watching, and stoically turned to face him. Lewis averted his gaze and tried not to shudder.

In silence they waited as the machine hummed to life, its light flickering. As its blinding rays permeated through the room, everything that could be seen was slowly washed out. Lewis squinted until it became painful, and in a lapse that seemed as brief as a blink, a wave of oppressive warmth enveloped him.

Lewis stood alone, overlooking a blackened canyon of volcanic magma. His eyes swept over the fiery landscape, islands carved in between flows of lava and huge stalagmites splayed like toothpicks. An open auburn sky revealed the true immensity of the crater he had been transported to. His feet shifted underneath a surface of soft rock like sand on a beach. This was far from what he thought would be an ordinary hunt.
There was no sign of any other ROBLOXians; they must be scattered about the hellish realm with him. With no sense of objective to guide him, Lewis carefully descended the hill of uneven turf deeper into the basin, where perhaps his rewards might be waiting.

--

Trekking across the map was like exploring another planet. There was nothing else to expect but more lava, stones and heat. Wandering in an endless nightmare, there was no sign of eggs anywhere. No points of interest gave indication of a particular spot where one could be earned. Lewis spotted few ROBLOXians, each of them too far away to interact with navigating their own tracts of rock, and appearing empty handed.

His backpack was causing unnecessary weight, and he took it off of his shoulders and opened it up. Since he had no idea how long he would be hunting, he had brought some meager provisions. A bottle of water and a package of crackers was all he had, including a set of gloves to handle the more dangerous eggs. The humidity made him tired, and he had to fight himself to not take a rest. He had a mission to accomplish for himself and his family. Putting the sense of desperation in the back of his mind, he looked in all directions, and tried to find another miniature continent to comb. A circular object caught his attention.

It was indeed an egg. It sat bobbing in a shallow pool of magma, dancing amongst a company of coal. Carrying his backpack with him, Lewis earnestly hurried to the edge of the dangerous puddle and sized up the distance he had to reach. The egg was patterned in bright orange and yellow clouds like the flames from an explosion. Putting on his gloves, he carefully knelt on the edge and leaned in.
The egg made no move to bring itself closer, mocking his average build and his lack of balance to reach out just a little bit farther. It was like trying to get a beach ball out of a swimming pool without trying to get wet again after already drying off. As his arms shook from the combination of exhausting heat and muscular strain, he heard the hollow retorts of footsteps.

Lewis whirled around to see the surprised face of a young adult. A piercing adorned the corner of his lip, and his long, untidy hair, unexpressive eyelids and black tank top over ripped jeans gave him the look of an average delinquent.
“Take it easy, man,” the stranger said, stopping an equal distance between Lewis and his backpack. Both of them studied the other’s next move. They began to slowly circle left, rotating around the bag. “Look, man, I wasn’t going to push you in or nothing,” he continued, raising his hands into view.
“I don’t want any trouble,” Lewis said.
“There won’t be any, just let me take the egg,” came the reply.
The teenager’s eyes frantically glanced back to the pool behind him, and he paused at the edge. Lowering himself and never taking his eyes off of Lewis, he swiftly turned to extend with one arm towards the egg and managed to graze the top of it, coming close with the bubbling surface below. He looked back at Lewis, standing motionless and watching.
Then the two hunters heard frantic ticking.

The egg went off like a land mine, sending up the searing mixture like a geyser. Lewis stumbled backwards as the rock broke apart, chips of ground falling into the deepening pool. As debris splashed down and simmered away, the stranger, and Lewis’ backpack, were nowhere to be found. The sound echoed around the crater, bouncing off of the hills and valleys.
As Lewis stared into the new rippling lake, he came to a haunting realization that not even the prizes could be trusted.

Lewis meandered for what had to be another mile or so. He changed islands with a hop or a skip, and after scanning around, discovered no other eggs. He had to keep moving on, lest he encounter more troublesome ROBLOXians. He felt unprepared without his backpack, and lost without a map. The most important thing he needed was a bearing on the location of the exit portal. A hunch kept him travelling towards the center of the crater, but the reality must be more devious than that.

He neared one of the many groups of stalagmites that acted as landmarks for the scorched earth. Taking a look up towards the towering formations, Lewis was taken aback to see a ROBLOXian poised atop the tallest spike, watching the horizon. It wasn’t a very dizzying height, but it was enough to make him narrow his gaze to see the figure more clearly. It was a woman, he assumed, with a thick, purple wig atop her head and a cropped jean jacket and shorts. Orange and black stockings covered her limbs. This individual, Lewis assumed, didn’t appear to be very sane either.
Her survey swiveled towards him, and she continued to cling onto the narrow, sloped ledge as she raised a hand in salutation. “How’s it going?” she had to half-shout.
“Any luck?” Lewis decided to query. He hoped this wouldn’t break down into another life-or-death scenario.
“Naw, it’s all quiet. I haven’t seen anything. Have you?”
“Not at all,” he lied.
“Well, I’m hoping that more eggs drop over time and people start to clear out. You’re welcome to wait with me, but when I see something, it’ll be an honest race between us, you know?”

Lewis was not a climber, but he accepted the invitation. He searched for a foot or handhold he could hoist himself up with, reminiscent of scaling trees in his backyard as a boy. He found a fissure between the crumbling outcrops to step on, and made his way between the cluster of dangerous spikes that may be difficult to descend from later. There was a gradual angle that he was able shuffle up and be high enough to see farther than before. A certain worry begged for him not to look down.

“I’m Molly,” she said casually from the taller vantage point. “I run a vinyl record store back in Squaretopia City. I’m not sure why I signed up for the hunt. Definitely not for this. You’d think the admins would ban this event and make everyone search for something more sensible, like fruit snacks…”
Lewis didn’t say a word as he wrapped around his stalagmite. He tilted his head to see around the conical tips of other formations. He realized how much energy it took to stay up, and flinched as he slid down a fraction.
Molly heard the soft rattle of loose stones and looked down at him. “Hey, are you holding up alright?”
Lewis was about to laugh uncertainly in light of his uncomfortable circumstance, but speech was taken from him as he noticed a comet come into view in the skybox. It gave off a burning tail as it sloped towards terra firma. Molly turned back to the horizon and audibly admired the extraordinary sight. “Wooow, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a meteor so close,” she remarked in wonder.
Lewis glanced at Molly who appeared to be too in awe as to what he feared was going to happen. The fireball shone closer and closer to the center of the crater, still an immeasurable distance away, and the sullen silence of the world was suddenly blown apart by the cataclysmic thunder of the impact. The ground was shaken up to the tips of the stone formations, and Lewis squeezed his imaginary branch as his greatest fears unraveled in seconds.

The portion that Lewis clung to broke away and he toppled backwards from where he climbed. He saw the thorny tangle beneath flip upside-down into stalactites and back again, then he rebounded off of an unseen surface and found himself living in slow motion. A shrill shriek of what had to be from Molly blended with the rolling rumble of destroyed earth. Lewis hit the surface much quicker than anticipated, and wrenched around in fright as the sensation of sliding ground overwhelmed him. He thrashed about, finding no apparent end to the nightmarish turmoil. As quickly as the disaster began, it hummed away into eternity, and Lewis laid face-down on the warm turf until he knew it was safe to stand again.

Looking out to the location of the landing, he witnessed an ominous yellow glow appearing as a bubble on the fractured plains. The dome beckoned to all that could see it. No doubt there had to be something of interest. As he started off to make the journey, he remembered Molly.
The stalagmites had been demolished from the quake, and by the collapsed pile was the unmoving figure of his brief companion. As much as he wanted to stay and properly mourn the death of a ROBLOXian he only just got to meet, Lewis went on with a backwards glance over his shoulder, heading for the corona in the distance. It was only necessary.

--

The pulse of the fallen star drew nearer, and Lewis was able to see it sitting in the middle of a crooked valley of steep plateaus. He kept himself within the cover of an overhanging cliff and was wary of other individuals arriving at the same time as him. Occasionally he stopped and felt an aftershock under his feet and waited for it to pass. The closer to the epicenter he became, the surface grew more uneven than normal. Plates were bent and cracked and lava vomited over the lower areas. If this truly where eggs could be found, Lewis would be hard-pressed to recover them.

The comet-turned-meteor had buried itself into a cliff wall, still colored white with immeasurable heat. As Lewis followed its carved trail through the rock, he noticed a formation of ROBLOXians running toward it. Shards of exploded stone lay smoking even as far as he was watching from, looking down upon miniature action figures moving across a reddened plain.
They stopped at a safe distance and dispersed to search around. Lewis was unsure if he would attempt to go nearer; this sense of cooperation seemed unusual between five hunters. He noticed stragglers emerge from behind similar hiding places that he had chosen and make their approaches, seemingly disregarding their fellow competitors.
Lewis prepared to follow, but then he heard a sudden shout from someone by the meteor. Everyone paused and turned to the source of the sound, and watched as the figure raised an arm towards an advancing ROBLOXian. Lewis couldn’t tell if there was something held in the individual’s hand, but there obviously must have if the invaders began to back away from the site. There was a period of tense standoff as Lewis tried to determine what could be going on. He watched a ROBLOXian make his way around out of sight from the main group, staying low underneath a series of angled hills, possibly trying to infiltrate the area undetected.

Another aftershock took over the attentiveness of all involved, and the ROBLOXian in command glanced around to see if anything was falling. He locked his line of sight with the stalking ROBLOXian who had gotten substantially closer, and gave another incomprehensible shout, followed by a piercing, almost unreal sound.
Gunfire was the last thing Lewis would expect in a place such as this, and when it rang out, it was taken up by two other sources from the meteor that made similar pointing poses. The perpetrator was downed in moments. The sight sent the others into a panic to run away, raising cries of “Guns! They have weapons!” throughout the valley. As Lewis instinctively fled the scene, the thoughts clicked into place; the soldiers who were together in the teleporter room had snuck in firearms. More sharp cracks echoed behind him, after those who were still out in the open.

Lewis sprinted as fast as he could across the boulders and shelves, acknowledging the change of the landscape created from the smaller quakes not so long ago. It appeared like the end of the world – land splintered into halves or thirds and started to sink into the oceans of orange. As Lewis sprang from island to island in his haste, the plates would often tilt from the added weight. Finally out of breath from his run, he stopped on a larger landmass and checked behind him, realizing that much of the valley had been overrun with magma. They were all running out of land.
A hollow clack of plastic came from somewhere nearby. Lewis spun about to see if anyone was there, and, instead, witnessed the sight of a falling star glimmering harmlessly on the rocks.

It wasn’t really a star, but rather an object of ovular shape. Lewis watched it carefully, aware of any threat, and was surprised by a splash behind him. Floating in the lava was an egg, too far away to possibly reach, colored grey and white. Another impact, and Lewis turned and recognized the color of an explosive egg rolling down the sloped edge of the island out of reach.
The eggs were finally dropping.
His attention turned back to the shining egg lying on its side and ran to investigate it. Amid the fears that someone could be watching, he carried it to an overhang created by a stone mound and crouched.

Lewis rotated the egg in his arms as he inspected its sheen. It was a brass-like yellow, reflective enough to mirror the image of his tired, bruised face from the fall. The egg emitted a soft, cartoony sparkling sound, quieted by the occasional noise of descending eggs bouncing off of the rocks and into the lava. This had to be a rare egg. There was nothing else that could be remotely as special as this one, and for now, it was his alone.
Looking up the skybox, Lewis saw wisps of black clouds quickly thicken and pollute the maroon atmosphere. A rumble of thunder was heard amongst the silent flashes of lightning. The ground shook again, more violently than before, biting off another section of land and swallowing it into the depths.
Lewis had to escape.

Hefting the egg in his grasp to measure the weight, he held it under his arm, stood up and looked about for any indication of an exit. Everything seemed so far away with safe ground disappearing. He found himself on a raft in a deteriorating puzzle. Unclear landmarks dotted the sea, and there wasn’t any time to figure out which one he should explore first. Trying to block out the various omens of destruction about him, Lewis went into a period of deep thought.

And it was interrupted with a low, reverberating ring that rippled throughout the world. It passed overhead like a sonicboom from a jet engine into eternity, and Lewis listened to it fade completely until it brought about a server-wide announcement to all present users.

“Attention, ROBLOXians: The egg hunt will shut down in the near future to fix issues with security and instability in the environment. We apologize ahead of time for the inconvenience,” heralded the permeating voice. “Please make your way to the exit portal as quickly as possible.”

Lewis was looking in the correct direction to see a beacon of blue light rise from a distant circle of rocks some mile or so away. It touched the curtain of clouds above it and was contrasted against the specks of cascading eggs that still rained.

He adjusted his hold on his golden egg. The race was on.

Lewis didn’t care how comical he might have looked as he galloped across straights of precious remaining land. Never being much of an athlete, he stumbled along, tripping where the surface changed angle quickly and awkwardly landing whenever a gap had to be leapt across. But never once did he hesitate. Nothing else mattered than to get off of one section and get onto another. He scoured for peninsulas to cross on before he reached them, thinking faster than he could sprint. He just had to keep buying time, and ignoring the worsening earthquakes, or the spare eggs that began to accumulate and only serve no purpose than to get in his way, like the pebble in a game of hopscotch.

Spurred on by the desperation to save his life, Lewis drew closer to the beacon, realizing it sat on a type of huge mound encompassed by standing stones. He gave little regard to the other ROBLOXians who were arriving from different directions, with only one or two eggs cradled in their arms. None of the crimson or black designs that the surviving users had could rival the magnificence of Lewis’ prize. The ROBLOXians noticed the shine that emitted from the golden egg as they worked their way from platform to platform.
A man had taken his eyes off of the ground for too long when he missed his step and fell between a space to his next destination. A loud sizzling caught the attention of everyone in the vicinity, including Lewis for a brief moment, and they watched as the individual’s checkerboard styled egg tumbled without its owner into the lava. The ROBLOXian didn’t even have the time to scream in anguish before perishing; the upper half of his torso held onto the ledge like it was trying to emerge from a swimming pool, the face unmoving in its expression of mixed surprise and sadness. The rattling from the quakes made the corpse gently sink into the choppy waves.

Lewis looked back towards the shore of the portal’s residence. It was just fifty yards away, but he had lost his momentum and was unsure if he could make the next jump. The shaking of the earth made his legs unstable, and he was feeling the weariness that came with the extreme activities of the day so far. His weight made the floating sheet dip into the oceans of scalding rock. With no other way but forward, Lewis took the leap of faith, his legs able to kick in the amount of time he was in the air. For a frightening moment his heels landed in open space, and he caught just enough of the island to fall forward. The golden egg left his grasp, and Lewis panicked as it bounced along the length of the land, coming to a stop just before a downslope by the edge.

Lewis gathered himself up in haste, and realizing that some ROBLOXians were crossing paths with him to get to the exit – to either intercept him or make it there quicker. A balding ROBLOXian was one of the many who was just a jump to his right from sharing the same land as him, and Lewis’ heart suddenly plummeted into his stomach as he witnessed the other hunter throw away his swirl-patterned egg and make the transfer to reach the golden one. With an exclamation of anger, Lewis launched himself forward with his arms outstretched, and bulled the ROBLOXian out of the way with a turn of the body while scooping up his egg like a rugby player.
Lewis didn’t need to see what became of the would-be thief as he slid to a halt on the stony surface. The splash after a momentary silence concluded enough. Lewis stood up again to watch the body disappear under the lava, and he whirled about to the fellow hunters that were closing in on him, each with the same wild expression of desperation and disbelief as they froze on their islands.
“This is my egg!” Lewis shouted. “I found it! None of you will have it, so help me, Baszucki!” He turned and bolted even faster across the remaining distance. Relief seeped into him as he stepped onto the edge of the portal’s island. He scrambled up the hill, almost laughing with happiness. The aural glow of the beacon seemed to shine down on him. As the area leveled out, Lewis looked at his reward again in glee, making sure that it was truly there, and that by some outlandish chance that he could be dreaming.

When he glanced upward to see the shining rectangle of the exit, what he saw instead drained all mirth from his soul.

Three of the soldiers were standing over the limp figure of a dead ROBLOXian, bleeding from the underside. A beret-wearing individual picking up the speckled egg out of the victim’s hands and gave it to one of his comrades, who turned to go the portal. Lightning flashed overhead to silhouette the remaining hostiles in the colors of nightmares.

As Lewis ran pell-mell towards one of the tall cylindrical spires that encircled the portal, he pressed against its outward-facing side and gasped for air, hoping that he wasn’t seen. He was so close, so brutally close. They were all so close. Just three perpetrators blocked the way to freedom; Lewis thought he had counted five at the meteor, but some must have been lost along the way to the exit.

Lewis’ mind raced as he looked down upon the other hunters advancing up the hill. They jostled each other to be the first to take the golden egg from his possession, casting aside their prizes to use both arms and push or drag competitors into the lava. Extra eggs rolled down the slope, even knocking over one of the climbers and making them tumble to their demise. Screams of protest and agony reached the top of the hill as pandemonium brewed amongst the dozen or so survivors. The soldiers had to have heard them.

Lewis circled away from the inside edge of the spire, trying to stay out of sight so the murderers who would go past to check out the commotion would not see him. But no, only one of them had advanced to meet the oncoming group. More shouts were heard above the deafening echoes of the thunder and quakes as the hunters realized they were trapped. They were shot down mercilessly. Lewis clenched his teeth in anger as he continued to sidle left, completing a turn that got him to an angle where he could see both the portal and the onlooking soldier, who was watching emotionlessly as one of his fellow men cut down the innocents. The one who took the speckled egg had reached the edge of the portal and tossed it towards the tall, luminous rectangle that took the same tinge as the teleporter, back in the world of the sane. The egg disappeared, a member of the other side.

Thoughts raced in Lewis’ mind as he looked out to the sea of lava, which had completely eaten up the rest of the land. There was nowhere to go. The stream of gunfire rounds faded into silence. There was nobody left. Finding himself in a hopeless state again, Lewis tried to focus and block out the endless roar of the earth and clouds, and just when he was about to let out a cry in delirium, the air shook with the hum of the otherworldly bell, bringing the universe to another halt:

“Attention, ROBLOXians. The portal will close in under a minute.” Lewis looked up towards the vortex of blackness that the voice seemed to emit from, and sticking out from the blend of inky shades, he saw the bright orange and yellow clouds that wrapped around one of the explosive eggs as it fell from the sky. “Please exit the hunt as soon as possible.”
Lewis was already running from the cover of the spire as he extended his arm backward and sent the golden egg on a roll towards the portal. As he held out his arms to catch the descending bomb, he answered the announcement’s proclamation to himself:
“I will.”
Lewis threw the phony egg as soon as he took hold of it, letting it vault through the air towards the beret-wearing soldier. Both of them heard ticking, and the other ROBLOXian swiveled and locked gazes just as they had done before entering the hunt. Only now, Lewis wasn’t the one that would turn away.

The detonation caught the soldier in a flurry of smoke as the ground splintered below him. Fissures tore through the entire hill like cracks in a window, rent apart from the vicious shaking of the quake. At once, lightning coursed towards the tip of the spire that Lewis was standing under, and it shattered into pieces, sending with it a cascade of shrapnel that buried the soldier with the gun behind him. The portal was meters away, and the last of the soldiers fumbled with his pistol in his holster as Lewis sprinted towards him.

Lewis chased down the golden egg, tucking it under his arm again as a loud rumble drew closer and closer. He looked over his shoulder just in time to see a dislodged spire loom overhead, and he dropped into a crouch while hugging the egg close. The giant stone collapsed just studs away, cutting into the earth between Lewis and the soldier. Lava exploded from the wide gap that it created, forming a curtain that Lewis backed away from. When it receded, the other ROBLOXian was no longer there.

Lewis shakily regained his footing, unable to move from the lack of energy, the vibrating ground below him, the throbbing of his head from the cacophonous noise, and the flurry of lightning strikes that tried desperately to stop him, disorient him, and ruin him. Standing over the precipice created from the fallen spire, Lewis realized his portion of the island was beginning to fall away, drifting apart from the intense glare of the portal that he only needed to stretch across and touch to reach. With the golden egg locked in his hands, Lewis threw himself head-first over the last gap, with no bearing of solid ground below him. He sailed close enough so that the piercing glare made him squint.
He did not look down.

--

Silence.

Lewis landed flat onto the unusually cold surface of tile flooring. He curled up slowly, shaking from the effort it took to even raise his head. He was in an empty space of dull teal walls and floors, back in the realm of ROBLOXia. This was the receiving room for players returning from the hunt. But he was all alone.

Lewis heard the faint sound of something rolling. He wearily turned to the sight of the golden egg travelling away from him, coming softly to rest against the dark speckled one that had arrived earlier, and with them, a collection of over a dozen more lying together – and they were all, in one way or another, his.
