Many new players to the Apocalypse Games find their Mosin Nagants and Makarovs to be ineffective against players with automatic weapons.
Now, even though players say it's "impossible" to play the game when their weapons are so weak, it really isn't. You still earn points for damaging players, as well as completing the objective - whether that be killing zombies, capturing urals, or beans. Teams are balanced based on what weapons everyone has, so having your team win is not completely dependent on you - and you do earn bonus points if your team wins in a team game.
It may be difficult at first, but it is not impossible by any means. Those who are having trouble are simply impatient. But, apparently something needs to be done.
-SUGGESTIONS-
We could offer a game pass that starts the player off with a Fedorov and an M3 - and those who don't buy it will have to start with the Double Barrel and the Nagant.
We could just cut the Nagant and similar rifles out of the game completely, and start the player with a Fedorov and an M3 for free. But then we would be veering away from the "Apocalypse Rising" theme of the game, which INCLUDES weapons like the Nagant.
The obvious third option is a matchmanking system. But Roblox's Universes simply wouldn't would well with such a system. (Remember not being able to follow your friends in the egg hunt?) So we would have to come up with something else, and really we have no idea where to start. This would be our last choice - by far.
So what do you think? Should we just leave it how it is? Tell those noobs to make the grind through those first weapons like everyone else did? If not, then which of the three options above look the best? Do you have a better solution?

I'm really bad at AG, just played it yesterday, and I agree it's quite difficult. In fact I can kill player 10x easier with the Makarov than with the Mosin.
A gamepass I wouldn't personally buy, even if I could afford it.
I guess I would vote for the second option.
I don't really have a better solution, either.

I should also point out that since the game gives you points for damaging, it's actually surprisingly easy to get points, and I already have enough for a couple of the guns, with just about an hour of gameplay, though I'm saving up for a better gun right off the bat.

I am willing to spend 800 robux n ur game but I'm afraid that it will be pointless due to the fact that I cannot buy RP. Could I possibly buy RP with 400 robux?

| i personnally think they should just deal with it i personnally love using the mosin :3 and it is basicly them being impatient which is why they cant use the gun there impatience is throwing them off the more you hate a weapon the cruddier you are with it if you cant grasp the fundementals of the weapon your not gonna be able to use it gus let thm figure it out so many game designers change alot just to appease whiners and it just makes the game crud (example halo 4 with the dmr being the only good gun) and no one uses anything else o-o dont appease to the whiners its your game gus <3 you :P lol |

| ps the reason the dmr is only good gun in halo 4 is because they thought changing alot of guns would balance it :P WRONG they gave the dmr no threat so players could kill in 4 or so shots with a gun that has 15 bullets -_- |

A suggestion would be to give out more CR / RP for "hard" kills, such as killing an enemy who has an M4A1 with the Nagant, or giving these players a small boost.
What would be better for your finances would be to create some kind of starter pack for a cheap price to help some players out.
I personally didn't really think that this was a problem. The enfield is an excellent and cheap weapon to buy and I personally prefer that weapon to snipe over any weapon which I bought currently. On maps in which you can "snipe" (and where the game mode allows this) you can get some easy CR / RP.
Also, if you manage to kill an enemy with which has an epic weapon, he/she will always drop their weapon with a mag - so my suggestion is that new players utilize this in order to get such weapons and make some more kills. |

| If I play apocalypse games in the future as a beginner I don't want the automatic weapon gamepass since people who can afford the game pass will be having an easy time earning kills and people who can't might have a harder time and people who got ak's etc would feel kinda cheated (that's what I would feel) , I won't buy it even if I can but I rather play longer on apocalypse games. As Gus said once if I can remember correctly that you're rewarded for playing the objectives or longer. |

| There really is no "new player problem". I started with the mosin; 30-60 minutes later, I had the ak-47. The only gun i bought on the way was the fedorov. Anyone who's halfway competent at shooters can manage to get some kills with the mosin- use its strengths. It's accurate at long range, it does high damage, and it pairs very nicely with the makarov. Shoot players with the mosin from behind buildings, off of rooftops, or when they are capturing urals. Switch to the makarov at close range and go for headshots. Ditch the CoD run-and-gun, play to your weapon's strengths, and use a whit of intelligence. You'll find unlocking new guns is really quite easy. |

I think the system is fine the way it is for the most part, but I do have a possible solution. Maybe new players could have a practice area that can be entered, where everyone who enters it is forced to use the same starter gear. This way, they can earn points while the game remains fair and equal.
I'm not sure if that would work into your system, but that's my suggestion. |

| srry for a triple post but i really dont want this to be like halo 4 o-o the second option just no removing guns and doing that never solves anything because someone will just complain about something else later first option and the whole buying stuff will just be giving people free stuff instead of playing and working for anything its like if the gym leaders in pokemon just gave you badges for free and even at a robux cost it takes you maybe 30 minutes to godown to the store buy some then there ya go free stuff :P and i know what you mean gus the egg hunt went weird as hell lol XD still the point is hey should accept the game how it is o-o and not pull words like impossible pr use guilt trip shinanigins to get free or make it easy and then someone in lobby sas haha im the best now that i have a automatic it really doesnt make a differance like the m14 in call of duty or try hiding in cover and getting points that how i got up hiding and taking the shots i could :3 btw gus just a compliment where its due love ctb its fun :D *capture the beans* X3 |

I do not think that this is a problem since its possible to pickup guns and/or do the objective.
1 thing tho is that the game would be more enjoyable if you would get more points for doing the objective. |

I don't think the starting weapons need to change, nor do any need to be removed. I think what makes the semi-auto and bolt action weapons, like the starter weapon (the Nagant), so undesired is the fact that Roblox's camera sensitivity is horrible. Trying to hit someone at a farther range with any weapon is ridiculous because the smallest movement the camera can do actually skips over quite a few pixels (This is especially noticeable when the camera's Field Of View has been adjusted as to zoom in while aiming down the sights). The main way to kill in the game right now is to spray and pray with full-auto weapons because you can rarely get your crosshairs perfectly on someone's head or on him at all at some distances. There's getting to be more and more games on roblox that have implemented their own camera sensitivity stuff making aiming better and sniping possible, and out of all of the games that haven't done this yet, I think this game needs it most. This is an extremely great game and so is Apocalypse Rising, but people shouldn't have to walk side to side to fine tune where their crosshairs are. However, I do not mean to sound very critical towards this game, as this is really something Roblox should be the ones fixing, not Gus and his team. But until Roblox sets things up better, it's the game developer's job to make sure things work like they should, and right now the biggest thing for all first person shooters on roblox right now is sensitivity. If i were Gus or any of his team, i'd make this the number one priority.

| In addition to the sensitivity stuff i mentioned, a matchmaking system would be awesome. It is possible to make it where you can join friends, roblox just never set it up for their own games(dumb people). you use the "GetPlayerPlaceInstanceAsync(userId)" method to get the information of the friend, like what place and server the friend is on, then use the "TeleportToPlaceInstance(placeId, instanceId [, player])" method to send the player to his friend using the information got from the "GetPlayerPlaceInstanceAsync(userId)" method. You can even make it where friends are sent as a group like this. you could take the group system from Apocalypse Rising and use it in this way in Apocalypse Games, that would be freaking awesome! |

Well,maybe you could change the damage when i had mosin,it took like more than 5 shots in the head to kill a guy... probably the reason noobs(new people) can't get kills |
