I've been banned a lot of times for my post being "inappropriate" or so, yet haven't seen anything wrong with it at all and had to take it to a mod before figuring out what's wrong with it.
This wastes time for both parties involved, and probably more than it would to just write a custom note. I mean, obviously this wouldn't be necessary in cases where someone posted, for example an obvious PA against someone, but for example, if you were to get warned/banned for inappropriate content in a really long post that's like 20 lines or so, say in a roleplay thread, trying to figure out what in it was inappropriate could take an awfully long time, or just be completely impossible.
I just personally think this would maybe help users to not end up breaking the same rule again without knowing it.

@tingle
Go through reports =/= take action on reports.
They themselves are going to know why they banned you, I don't see why it'd be so hard to write that down if it's a more obscure/complex ban.

| But I admit that they should still have some time to write a quick "Don't say that word" note. |

| What that tingle guy said, they have a lot of reports. Imagine you were some celebrity who gets 5000+ letters a day, are you really going to spend 10 minutes with each one? I mean, come on now. |

"say in a roleplay thread" subtle :)
yeah i think it might be because of the quantity of reports |

@deltav
It was an example that just happened to be related to something that had happened before. Besides, it's a valid one.
Also, again, amount of reports they read =/= amount of reports they do something about.

| I don't get how people find it so hard to find out what's against the rules and what's not. I find it all really easy... |

Because you don't post threads that are 30+ lines long and seem completely inoffensive to you.

| well, when it comes to that, it normally tells you that there is something inoffensive and you get a chance to review it and stuff |

I have no idea what you just said. I don't think they take action against inoffensive things, because they're inoffensive.

I've had plenty of ideas for posting really long threads, but I never bother actually posting them.
I can easily tell what's against the rules and what's not, no matter how big the thread is. |

And, pretty much so can I. Which is exactly why it's weird when I get banned for them.

extreme, im basically saying that when there is something offensive in your post, it tells you you would then normally go back and correct the post |

I believe they should make more descriptive moderation notes because I can post something that looks innocent to me and the moderation system will go and say NOPE ITS REALLY INAPPROPRIATE TO BANLAND YOU GO

@naruto;
yes but you say "inoffensive" in your post prior, that was the confusing part |

"Clearly you can't if you get filtered/banned for it."
No offence, but your logic sucks, Boring. You are operating on a basis that says there is no such thing as a false ban. Not only that, mods might have different opinions of "offensive" to me.
@naruto
That's called getting filtered. It just basically says "your post got filtered and you're about to get banned for it". Doesn't tell you what was filtered.
What I'm saying is effectively what David said: People basically get banned, and the mod says "Something in this category was wrong with your post. We're not going to say what, though."
