Would you like to live in a society where everyone is the same and you can't do anything?

Ok, I'm up for a nice civil debate. I'll start us off, I like Communism. I think that if put in the right circumstances and carefully controlled, it can be very beneficial to the economy.

Nay. Not enough individualism, however a mixture of it with capitalism is the right way to go.

You can't have economics in communism. Economy is the circulation of money. In communism everyone is the same so they must have the same thing. You can't buy or sell things. You would be different and that is not communism.

It could be, but have you really EVER seen it work? Communism's killed 85-100 million within the last century...That's a brutal hit to you. 85-100 million. MILLION people killed. Stalin alone killed 25 million, with Lenin killing thousands, regarding them as ''enemy's of the people''.

It doesn't support creativity. I mean, if you're going to get paid the same thing as a garbage man, when you're a docter, then what's the point of working hard? While in capitalism, people work hard to gain the rewards which are almost promised to them if they are appealing enough, but in communism...Not really.

Communism is aggressive, it calls for a class revolution, to cause a civil war within your country and be rewarded with either death or a communist society. It calls for war. This is an aggressive ideology, and if you can do that, wreck your country, then you could go anything. Like the gulags.

Because of my second point, there will be no competition within a communist society; stopping economic and technological advancement. I mean, Google is only there because it doesn't want to go bankrupt, in a communist society, it wouldn't care, because the outcome is still the same.

Now but there is an economy, not a localized one, but an out of state one. One for any imports/exports. Now the failed attempts of Communism. The majority of these men tolerated nothing but communism. They just put a bad name on it. Somewhere the had a fault and refused to let it take them down. And in order to have that fault not bring them down, they had to do terrible things. That's why I say it would have to be controlled. An outside entity almost, would watch over and see any faults ( A little farfeched I know).

Now everybody isn't the exact same. The benefits of Communism is that there is no, absolutely no economic state divided social classes, poverty, homelessness, and famine ( Assuming all is good and well in the system).

Now I want to share with you my personal idea of a perfect system of Communism. Imagine a world in which you wouldn't have to worry about buying a house, paying for food, water, and electricity. Imagine not having to worry about purchasing all of life's essentials.

Here's the system: Everybody works for the greater good. There is no selfishness, in capitalism that's all everybody cares about, is themselves. The work of the economy would be distributed properly and equally. Meeting the requirements, everyone is a working man, no forced labor, but more like a system of gears working smoothly. There would indeed be competition in this world If you want a higher authority job, you work harder!

There would be individualism in this society. If you want to be a nurse, be a nurse, assuming the position is open, just like in any other society. You would still get paid based on the amount of effort you put in, but instead of spending so much of that money on self luxuries, part of it goes to work for the greater good. With the rest of the money you earn, it's yours to do with as you please. You can buy luxuries or donate it.

That being said, there still would be vendors, and things like Google. Except that there wouldn't be as many vendors, they would be limited. There wouldn't be companies for groceries, houses, etc. But for any luxury there would be. Anything that's supplied to you is made by a central "company" in a sense. That company being the government. Now personally I'd make it a sector of the government and have that sector split into branches that handle specific things.

The government would supply you with a house for your family. You'd live there until a maximum amount of 25 years (excluding special needs). By that time, you'd have a job and be moved into your own home. You get a wife and a child, then you're moved to a proper sized house. You too old to work and then are moved to a senior care center. There would be no elders on things like life support, being vegetables.

Now what about expressing yourself? Showing who you are, and music and art. When you live in your own home, you'd be given a wide variety of options to make/design your home. Now the lot size and house dimensions would be consistent. But this system gives you a great opportunity that not everyone has today. To completely design your home however you want. You'd be assigned an architect and a budget, and a huge list of available things to put in your home. It'd be like all the different accessories for a girl's barbie doll. You could create your own home.

Art and music, would be luxuries, like today. If I wanted to make or purchase art/music I'd spend my money on it. Just like today. There would be a lot more of public things like museums, parks, art exhibitions, radio, etc. It'd be someone's job to manage those things. You could even have people that have jobs just for making art or music. A lot of artists today do it on the side. Now they'd be paid in full to make their art, just meeting a time requirement. That would be the same thing for musicians.

What about toys for children? They'd be a standard given thing also. Just like the house, they would have a catalog type thing to select their toys from. Each child could get a new toy every month, and have the ones no longer in use either recycled or given to another child.

And hobbies? to keep everyone stimulated, adults would also be given a catalog type of thing. They could pick things like a television, a radio, books, model kits, etc. in monthly increments. Now they could also spend their money to pursue these interests, or even get more toys for their child.

Now foods. Again in the same system. You'd have a catalog book that you can pick out all your foods for the month. You would do 1 of 2 things. 1, select pre made foods for yourself, or 2, select ingredients and make your own things.

How on earth would all that stuff be paid for though? I mean getting all that stuff for FREE? Well going back to a previous statement, It'd be taken out of your paycheck, just like taxes, in fact it would in sense be a tax. But for psychological reasons I'd call it something different.

Now education would be completely paid for. There would be a mandatory grade school like today's. Kids would also have classes that they could pick to pursue their own interests. After the grade school, the kids would go to schooling for what ever career they want. Just like the current economy, they'd most likely have to wait in for an opening in that job, and in the meantime have another job. They'd be assigned a job that requires little training. They'd continue to do that job until the opening for their trained profession is open.

There would indeed be technological advances. Your profession could be a person that makes those. The majority of your funding would be payed for, but you could also spend your own. Just like working in a research facility, you'd have to have something to show in an allotted amount of time.

The pay for the majority of the jobs would be the same. The hours for the jobs would be planned out to be most efficient. Now the jobs that are more physically and mentally demanding would have a higher pay, and the ones that are less would have a lower pay. The jobs could be categorized. An evaluation system could be made to judge every job and give them the proper pay.

Now finishing up this h*ll of a rant. I think that the communism we have seen would not work, but a new type, kind of a hybrid would work.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR READING THIS :DDD

Explain why we don't have mass murders in capitalism.

''Now everybody isn't the exact same. The benefits of Communism is that there is no, absolutely no economic state divided social classes, poverty, homelessness, and famine ( Assuming all is good and well in the system).''

Well there wouldn't be because of the aggressive ideology; the lower class should start a revolt.

''Now I want to share with you my personal idea of a perfect system of Communism. Imagine a world in which you wouldn't have to worry about buying a house, paying for food, water, and electricity. Imagine not having to worry about purchasing all of life's essentials.''

Someone's said communism is good in theory, but not good when it is actually practiced, so what's the point of that? It's never worked, so what use is it to us?

''Here's the system: Everybody works for the greater good. There is no selfishness, in capitalism that's all everybody cares about, is themselves. There's no evidence that if you work harder you'll get a higher job, but what does that mean? You still are rewarded with the same things as your previous job, so why should you work harder? In capitalism, you

But you wouldn't get paid on how much effort you put in...Because it's distributed equally.

I'm pretty sure Google wouldn't invest in a communist utopia society if there was no reward for it, anyway, I'm pretty sure that the government controls ALL industry in a communist society, which is one of the reasons how they distribute it EQUALLY.

Communism's supposed to be fair, anyway, you'd always have a job because of the state controlled industries which keeps the econom-, there's actually no economy in a communist society.

Now what about expressing yourself? Showing who you are, and music and art. When you live in your own home, you'd be given a wide variety of options to make/design your home. Just tl;dr please.
