So, basically, I lost my account a couple years ago, yet I just got it back a while ago.
It had BC that was ending in 2 hours and so on.
Through info@roblox.com the stealer got it back though, just because he bought the BC.
Is ROBLOX really going on the side of the BC buyer instead of the original owner?
Because that's exactly what happened to me.
I'd love an explanation.
info@roblox.com didn't help at all, they just kept saying I'll need the CC etc. to get the account back. |

| It did have an verified email, though it's changed to the BC buyers now, as he complained to ROBLOX about 'HIS' account getting stolen. |

| Lol, if you had a verified email that was changed to another, you can revert the change on the original verified email. |

| That couldn't have happened because then ROBLOX would assume that the account wasn't verified before you verified it (which he would say you have stolen it from him by doing that). If the account isn't verified, they can't do anything about it because of problems like this. |

I personally think ROBLOX should quit being dumb and address the issue with emails. The point of having an email is for security purposes, but they did more work into making it switchable.
There should be an email required at the start of an account, and it should generally exist forever in the background of THAT account, though that's too much work for ROBLOX to CARE about.

| If someone bought your BC then they have full control over your account now. This is why you don't let people buy you BC. |

The account was verified to my email, I did revert my email but they reverted it permanently to his, as he 'claimed' the account to himself through buying BC.
He has the CC which with the BC was bought, I don't. I did have my account verified but I got the email at 2009, and used it this year (Because I did not know it was stolen until this year). |

Recipt, I never gave the account to anyone, it was PG'ed at 2009 by someone, and he started using it I suppose.
What kind of an idea is it to steal an account, then use it and buy BC etc when I could've taken it? I did take it, but sadly he got it back because of the BC. |

Not every user has an email. Though ROBLOX recommends email account verification

Don't announce your emails, all of which have a different purpose. That honestly did not hold argument to what you said.
Verification is not to be compatible with someone treating emails like they are social networks. They work with one, there HAS to be that barrier somewhere. |

I didn't do anything at 2009 because I was having good time on my newer account (MinigameDude) and got to newer and newer accounts.
Though Redi is not my oldest account, my very first account would be 430BBB. |

I'm not sure there is much we can do in this case. If you lost your account years ago, it makes sense to me that you would have tried to get it back a year ago, not just last week. If you were able to successfully get it back a year ago, there wouldn't be an issue.
As far as I'm aware, when the verified email on an account is changed, an email is sent to your verified email which gives you the power to revert that change and re-gain your account.
If none of those actions were taken in the time since, and somebody else has evidence to show they are the owner of the account, we can't just override that and hand it over. |
